EXCEPTIONAL IN EVERY WAY describes one of the best Poipu Sands condos available. Until you get there, you would not realize the advantages to this unit as compared to all the others. Unlike many of the others, this one is opposite the HEATED POOL area and close enough to the ocean to have an OCEAN VIEW across Shipwreck Beach and the sandstone cliffs in front of the Grand Hyatt Poipu Beach. It is also a GROUND FLOOR unit with expansive lanais that extend out onto a large grassy area. This is an END unit and as such, is one of the few that has a master bedroom in the front WITHOUT A SECOND STORY ABOVE. This allows you the convenience of being on the ground floor with the advantage of no one being above your bedroom that could otherwise keep you awake. The master suite has its own lanai, and is separated from the second bedroom, allowing you maximum privacy if sharing with children or another couple. This combination of unique features makes this one of the PREMIER units at Poipu Sands. If you are going to spend this much money, why settle for anything but the best!

The location of the condo was the best. We especially liked that it was an end unit on the ground floor right on the grass. The pool was right across from the condo and that was ideal for a family. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

This Poipu Sands is a great place to stay, very comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated. The location is perfect, just a short stroll to Shipwreck beach and the Hyatt, or a quick drive to Poipu Beach park. The ground floor location makes for an easy in and out, and the beautiful is just steps away.

We just completed a mid-August weeks’ stay at this unit. Our grandson was with us. We chose this ground unit for its proximity to the pool. We were elated to find an expansive covered patio, with dining for four, 2 awesome chaise lounger’s (fun naps), four more patio chairs with small tables, with patio room to spare. We were pleasantly impressed with how much privacy and space, with still being close to the pool. The views off this patio were travel posters. Towards the left, unobstructed view of shipwreck beach (smooth cool breezes!). We’d watch the divers jump off the cliff points at the East end of this beach. If you’re an early risers, watching sunrises from this unit was simply grabbing a patio chair, walking on the grass may 20 steps, easy to do with cup of coffee, and sit in your chair facing East. Again another travel poster view! We happened to be in Poipu, at the same time other friends were there. One stayed in an ocean front rental West of us, nearer to Lawai, another at the Point of Poipu, another near the public beach at Poipu. My wife and I noticed each night we had dinner plans together, everyone wanted to meet at this unit for wine and conversation. Our friends described our unit as being “plush” and were amazed (perhaps a little jealous) on how well of our unit was provisioned, in the kitchen (pantry, utensils, glass & patio), bedrooms, bathrooms and even laundry room (beach chairs, floaties, tennis racquets). Parking is perfect. Owners is responsive and pleasure to converse with. Perhaps you could consider ignoring this review. We’d love to stay here again, if we can find an opening. Aloha

We had a fantastic stay at the property! The proximity to the pool and Shipwreck Beach for the sunrise was unbelievable. The condo had everything we needed and was close to so much in Poipu. There were four boogie boards, a football, a beach umbrella, cooler, and tennis rackets available for our use, which was amazing! We weren’t 100% sure if not having AC was going to work for us, but Scott and all of the other reviews were absolutely right - we didn’t need it! The winds at night cooled the whole place down and we all slept comfortably! The only issues were with the actual grounds of the condominium property itself: *We were left a note saying to keep all windows and doors shut at night due to the potential of crime (not likely, but clearly they just needed to say it). It would not have been possible to sleep without the windows / doors open, so we ignored this. *The pool had very strict rules that weren’t outlined anywhere on the property. We were told there was no: Jumping into the pool Throwing of pool toys/balls (we were playing catch with no one else in the pool) No use of any floaties For anyone who is coming with children or young teens, these rules will absolutely impact your pool time, as it did ours. That said, the pool (and entire complex) is pristine and kept in amazing condition and the condo was the perfect place to stay. We loved it and Scott was an amazing host!

The condo was perfect. Everything was in great shape. The kitchen was by far the most well stocked of any we have ever stayed at. The location could not be better. It is close to everything, but not in a busy area. The whole rental process was well managed with great communication. We really had a wonderful time.
