This property is not suitable for holiday makers , essential services like the toilet do not work and the property manager is slow to fix them. In addition they are interested in also taking your bond.

This home is very lovely and has amazing views. Our contact was easy and helpful to deal with. Based on its short location to Waikiki made us feel safe (from Covid exposure) but still close enough to experience the great restaurants and shopping when we would walk (45-50 minutes). I would say the description that this home is located on a quiet street is not accurate, as there is a busy (main) road on the view side of the property. Also, as mentioned by other reviewers, it is odd to have to go through one of the bedrooms to enter into the home. It would not seem hard to make access via the front door possible. Overall though we had an amazing time in this lovely home.

The first thing that I would like to comment about is how beautiful the view is from the back deck, the house is also very beautiful on the inside but there are major issues with the house, starting with the access. The house is a four bedroom (?) as advertised but you are not allowed to use the front door to enter, you must go thru the side gate past the garbage cans (which had garbage from the previous guests) and thru a bedroom to get into the house. One night we had locked up the sliding doors and we had to wake my son up walking thru his bedroom to get to the rest of the house, why we can not use the front door I do not know. As for parking, you are not told anything in booking that there is only room for one car in front of the house, a house that sleeps 10 people and thus you need to drop people off at the house and park down the street. We had to make an appointment with the concierge to meet us to go over the house upon our arrival, my brother arrived first and the concierge went over how to get into the house and pretty much that is all. She did not go over the kitchen, the TVs or the AC Units and in fact when I called the concierge a day later stating that we could not get the Living Room TV to work I was told to unplug it and re plug it all in and if I cannot figure out how to turn on the TV than just don’t use it. I would not officially call this a four bedroom house since one of the bedrooms does not have a closet, not only does it not have a closet but there is no dresser in that bedroom to unpack anything so the people staying in that room must live out of their suitcases. All of the rooms have AC Units but in the bedroom that has to bunk beds in the AC Unit is directly on top of the bed, so for everyone else in the room to be comfortable the person in the upper bunk bed must freeze and have three blankets on. I called the concierge after a day or so of staying at the house stating that the Master Bedroom ceiling fan was not working, we took time out of our trip to meet the concierge to prove that it was not working, she could not make the time to meet the handyman to fix it and asked if it was okay that he lets himself in but we were not comfortable with that so it was not fixed for our stay. On or about day three a piece of the wooden ceiling in the second Mast Bedroom fell onto the bed, good thing that it happened during the day and not at tight when someone would have been directly under it when it fell, not fixed.

Hāle Mahinalani..... Beautiful & relaxing home with AMAZING deck & views!! It was the best and most comfortable home we have ever stayed in! Easy access to the famous Diamond Head Crater/Park, beaches, restaurants and not far from Waikiki! This beautiful home is very clean, spacious and has all the great amenities for our family vacation! Lani was very gracious, attentive & accommodating to all of our needs. Highly recommended! Everyone had a wonderful experience and we’ll definitely be back the next time we visit Honolulu!!
