    We were super happy with this location. Steps from an amazing beach with fun snorkeling and breath taking sunsets. Nobody else mentioned the beautiful walking path along the ocean. What a treat to walk there every morning. The common pool and hot tub were well maintained. And remarkably, the facilities never felt crowded. This unit was good, everything was functional. We made most of meals in the unit. Kitchen was stocked with utensils, pots/pans, small appliances etc. there was even a few spices to use. Beach chairs, towels, cooler and umbrellas were put to good use. We had a few minor questions for management and they responded promptly. We are “easy to please” people and didn’t expect high end finishes. Most of our time was spent on the beach or sight seeing. That said, the carpet (in both bedrooms) felt icky and the couch and outdoor cushions could use updating and didn’t feel clean (tough for a beachside condo, I get it). I see other units in the building have tile or hard wood in the bedrooms. Much cleaner). On a good note; beds, bedding and towels are excellent!

    The place is just the way it’s described the description the host was fantastic and communicating with us. There was some problems with construction, but we got past sad. I know that I’ll be coming here for years to come absolutely beautiful.

    We really enjoyed our stay. The unit is perfectly situated near the beach and the pool. Great views and sunsets. Close to restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed morning walks on the Wailea walkway. Appreciated the beach umbrellas, chairs, cooler and beach towels!

    I am sure this is a lovely property but due to the tragic wildfires in Maui we were unable to come and stay. The property manager was unwilling to give a refund despite a travel advisory against travel to Maui and the pleas of local government to stay away. At our request she did agree to try to rebook our dates to people already on island and immediately got a booking. She has since refunded us approx 20% saying that was some of the proceeds and our cleaning fee. Vrbo has tried to intervene but no luck. Given the circumstances we expect a refund. Strongly do not recommend working with this owner.

    Great Location, great unit and property manager was very available. The property needs to provide some kind of parking passes for people who check in after hours or on the weekend.

    The property was in a great location and the first floor made it great. Direct access to beach and amazing snorkeling. Coffee in the morning and happy hour in the afternoon from the porch were amazing. Saw whales everyday from the porch! Beds were comfortable and unit was very clean and functional. I would suggest a little maintenance on the sliding doors and screens and “guest” shower head. But did not detract from stay. Pictures are accurate. This is a comfortable unit in a great location. Don’t miss black sand beach just minutes away.

    What an absolutely perfect location! Loved being in Wilea and loved having a ground floor oceanfront patio. So convenient. The interior could use updating but everything was very comfortable. Compared to similarly priced hotel rooms nearby, we felt this rental was a great value.

    Fantastic location (20m to beach or resort pool - your choice). Sunsets from the front porch were magical. Loved the early morning beach swims at 6am when seas are calmer - even saw a large turtle near the shore on one of the morning swims and another in middle of day swam right past us. Apartment on ground floor was perfectly located, well fitted out with everything we needed and very clean. Parking was also a breeze either at front on road (heaps of spots always there) or underground. Mahalo Diana for a great holiday, our family would love to visit again. Victor G & Family.

    Returning to Maui for the first time after having been a resident for a number of years, I was beyond delighted with the experience at this property. Not only is it cozy, quiet, well equipped and clean, it has an absolutely EPIC LOCATION being only about 30 yards to the sand, a private beach area only accessible to residents and anyone who wanders over from the public Polo Beach. I highly recommend this property for anyone who want the Maui experience up close and personal. THANK YOU!!!
