The location is perfect; at the end of a private road with access to a secluded beach. And the views – simply amazing. The condo comes with beach chairs, boogie boards and a cooler. The unit itself is dated, and the dishwasher was out of order, which is an irritant if you like to cook while on vacation. The dryer is a condenser dryer, not vented, so be prepared for long dry times if you have a lot of laundry. Note on the lack of AC: the condo is breezy and comfortable – until the trade winds stop blowing. Something to consider since we cannot control Mother Nature. All this being said, I would recommend Sealodge J9. The property company was communicative and easy to work with. And the location and views override the drawbacks.
Beautiful views from this apartment, both front and back. Checking in was easy and it was pretty easy to find. The beds were comfortable and generally the apartment was fairly well equipped. A pair of kitchen scissors might be a useful addition and it was unfortunate that the dishwasher was broken but we were able to do what we needed in the kitchen. Having the washer & dryer was really helpful and the beach chairs etc. Location was great, easy drive to supermarket and not far to Hanalei which is a lovely place to explore. It was warm when we were staying and though there was an ocean breeze, the fans were necessary!
View! The view was beautiful! Amazing ocean views from all rooms! So glad we prioritized view in a rental - this place really delivered!Location was ideal for exploring and adventuring on the north end of the island. Amenities are close: Princeville stores, Hanalei, lots of activities. You can walk to a snorkel cove/beach from the condo on a trail. Lots of others nearby with a short drive. The bedrooms were comfortable and two bathrooms & showers was great! The window bed was great too - plenty comfortable! Sheets for the window bed were difficult to find and only sorta fit - but worked okay once we found them.Lots of bath & hand towels 4 beach towls which was really nice! Washer & dryer in the condo is great!! Dryer doesn't dry fully, but having them was ideal for a longer trip!Communication & maintenance was lacking. The dishwasher was full of dirty standing water when we arrived. We informed right away & it took them 5 days to come & then they just put an "out of order" sign on it. This was okay, but would have been really difficult if it were something more necessary like the fridge or a bathroom. Also, we got caught on the other end of the island during a tsunami warning the very last night - I called, texted, and messaged that night requesting late check-out due to this, and they never responded.

We loved the condo for our adult family. Great amount of space for everyone. The view was wonderful. The location was perfect for getting to various beaches and the state park.
Easy parking, great location, good for a family of 5 with older kids. The beach gear was nice to have, the umbrella was broken.. but didn’t hinder our fun time at the beach!
This condo worked well for our family of 4. We loved the view & sound of the ocean and the sweet little beach nearby. It's not fancy or very modernized, but it was comfortable, easy to get to and private. We loved it!

My wife and I stayed at this property for 10 days in January 2025. The place was exactly as described. The direct ocean views from all 4 windows were amazing. Although it was just the two of us, there were enough beds for 5-6 people. One of the qualities we especially enjoyed was how quiet it was. All we could hear was the surf and the occasional rooster that added to the ambience. Two washrooms were great. Although there was no A/C, by opening the windows on each side of the condo, it allowed a beautiful cross breeze that kept the place cool during the day as well as the night. The kitchen was compact but very functional. The area is surrounded by a sprawling golf course with beautiful trees and flowers abound. Amenities are a short drive away. There was also a secluded beach a short hike away. All in all we loved this property and we would love to go back for a future stay.
We had a restful stay at the Sealodge in Princeville. Great property w/ an even better location.
Plenty of room for a family of 4, gorgeous views from every room, lanai, beautiful grounds. Well supplied kitchen. Beach toys, beach chairs etc, were a nice extra touch. Lots of towels. Excellent communication from host, easy check-in and check-out. We would definitely stay here again. Couldn’t be improved upon.

The condo is centrally located to many places in the northern section of Kuaui. So many beaches to choose from and the unit provides chairs, an umbrella, cooler. The site itself is a bit like a fishbowl with neighbors visible in their units and the view from this unit is a bit obstructed with the layout of the building itself.
We loved the property! Location and view are perfect. Quiet and family friendly! We loved not having AC! Loved the sound of waves! We kept the windows up at night. It is a rainforest so it takes a bit longer for clothes to dry due to humidity. I loved the climate, it eliminated dry skin. (I am a country girl, so I had no problems.) We will, without a doubt, stay with this company again!
Quiet, beautiful, comfortable. It exceeded our expectations. The views and ocean breezes in every room were fantastic. The place was bigger than the pictures showed. Truly incredible location with a short hike to a secluded beach and snorkeling.

This was a great home base for my family. The listing description/pics were accurate. My kids were comfortable in the loft and on the window bed. We cooked almost every meal at home in the kitchen. The views were beautiful. We enjoyed the beach chairs and boogie boards!
Nice area, a bit far away from most things and cloudier/rainy than the rest of the island but a great place to stay for the price!
