Located between Oahu and Maui...Molokai is an undiscovered treasure. 'The Friendly Isle' is a family-oriented island with deep connections to its Hawaiian traditions. Unlike the tourism driven other islands, here you can relax, slow down and have your own space. Nowhere else in the Hawaiian Islands will you have the opportunity to be the only one on a long white sand beach.

Ke Nani Kai #132 is a welcoming spacious end unit (the largest of the 3 floor plans) that has been decorated in fantastic Hawaiian style by the owners. Fun fresh paint throughout as well as vintage travel posters adorn the walls. The sofa and chair covered in a mocha palm print add to the island-inspired makeover. Ke Nani Kai floor plans were designed so that the master bedroom can be closed off or opened up to the living area to give the unit a spacious feel and take advantage of the tropical breezes. The master received a tropical touch-up with a bamboo comforter set and bed. The master bathroom has been remodeled to add a new vanity area and walk-in shower. The second bedroom has new beds and is decorated in a surf shack motif.

The glass top dining set in the open great room has brightly colored green and blue chairs. The newly updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and new tile countertops is connected by a helpful pass-through. The kitchen is well stocked with Circulon pots, kitchen gadgets, flatware, and glasses (both glass & plastic since glass is not allowed at the pool). You will have no problem preparing delicious meals with the local organic fruits and vegetables as well as grass fed Molokai beef or freshly caught fish.

There is a southwest facing wall of sliding glass doors that open up to an oversized shaded tiled patio and rolling lawn with the surprise addition of a mango tree. You are just a minute stroll from the best pool in Molokai and the regulation tennis courts. The Ke Nani Kai grounds are gorgeous. Look for hibiscus, plumeria, and banana trees when you walk the short 5 minutes to Kepuhi Beach. And, enjoy the wild turkeys and other exotic birds walking by in the morning while you eat your breakfast.

Ride a mule to Kalaupapa, hike to a waterfall, explore lush tropical forests, eat coconut pastries at the bakery, read a book at the pool, or just do nothing. Visiting Molokai will change your life for the better.

The kitchen had what we needed & we did have good dinners. The place is in a very quiet area. There are beaches in walking distance both north and south. We heard Hawaiian music at the pavilion that’s just past the mac nut farm (Sundays 3–5). We went to Hiros for lunch one day. A very relaxing and fun time.

We had so much fun at this property! The host was extremely kind, and the house was exactly as described, and we loved it. Walking to the beach is super fun in the morning/evening and playing all day in the sand is so therapeutic. There are so many places to explore. The pool is kept very clean and the barbecue area is perfect for family dinners. Can’t wait to return!!

My graduate student and I stayed here during our 2 week trip to Molokai to tend to my winter corn nursery. The unit was clean and organized. It was super convenient to get to/from the field. The visiting peacocks and chickens were fun.

Thank you for making our vacation enjoyable and fun. We appreciate all the extra amenities that were in the condo. We had plenty of paper towels, soap, etc. to keep us comfortable. Memorable!

Interesting experience , but very positive. Will probably come back. You have to adjust to food choices and long timers have it all figured out.

We stayed in this pearl of a condo at the Ke Nani Kai Resort in the most intriguing and beautiful area of Maunaloa. A truly original Hawaiian experience. A very peaceful setting, quiet except for the lovely bird song we woke up to each sunny morning. The lanai was our favorite place to hang when around the condo. Furniture and bedding was very comfortable. Bathroom linens were nice and well supplied. The kitchen had everything we needed and was well organized, plentiful, and clean. We felt safe sleeping with the doors open and screen doors locked so we could take advantage of the trade winds moving through the rooms and keeping us cool. We were here during mango season and enjoyed picking a fresh mango off the lovely mango tree for breakfast just off the lanai. Our neighbor was very quiet-even with our doors open and facing each other we never encountered them. The pool is beautiful, but we spent our days exploring the island and walking to the beach enjoying long walks and swims. The ocean is calm enough to swim in and there’s hardly a soul on the beach. Although we did encounter a couple of signs on the side of the road that said “Stop-Shop-Leave” all the residents of the island were very friendly, kind, and we had a great time talking story on this peaceful and laid back island. My son in law is a big lover of fly fishing and booked 2 days of bonefishing with Uncle Joe. He’d never seen bone fish as big as they have on Molokai. He had a blast! In 4 days we saw a lot of the island-gorgeous beaches, beautiful mountain preserves, wonderful bird life and marvelous views. So much to see and do there. Fish, body surf, snorkel, hike, explore. I haven’t mentioned half of what we did there. The tranquility there was comparable to being at a health spa. Our host, Meg and property manager, Julie, were very responsive. I hope you’ll enjoy you stay as much as we did!
