The fresh tradewinds blow gentle breezes through this amazing house, filled with antiques and custom furniture. It is equipped with “top of the line” everything from the dishes, linens, pillows and bed to the doors and floors. There is a gentleness to this Hawaiian house that gives the feeling of peace. Whether lounging on the screened lanai or just enjoying the quiet, it's luxury at its best.
There are two master suites each with queen beds and huge walk in showers. The suites are privately located on either ends of the house. This home is appointed with real tropical hardwood floors throughout, Gourmet kitchen, and an unbelievable attention to detail.
This is the kind of home that is so comfortable you won’t want to leave, but when you do it's just 10 minutes to lovely Koloa Town, the oldest plantation town on the island with quaint shops, restaurants and local grinds (food), 15 minutes to Poipu’s beautiful beaches, surfing, golf and fabulous restaurants and 15 minutes from Port Allen where you can embark on an adventure to the breathtaking Napali Coast or a romantic sunset cruise.

A peaceful and relaxing vacation! We loved waking up to the rain in the morning and having our coffee on the lanai. The location was perfect. Close to the main road so easy to get anywhere on the island but hidden in the hills. The house was well-stocked with cooking basics, beach towels, and laundry supplies. Beautiful lush landscaping including baby pineapples! The entry deck with shower, bench, and hooks was great to rinse off the sand and leave your wet clothes and shoes outside to dry. We hope to return to Kauai and stay here again.

Overall, we loved the place. It was quiet and beautiful as shown in the listing. The owners were friendly and very helpful when a few issues arose, and very quick to respond. We had no complaints at all. Excellent place to stay, especially in the winter as it is in the south of Kauai which is less rainy and close to the beaches.

This home was absolutely in the perfect location. We were able to go to the west, south, and east of the island quickly where most of the booked adventures leave from. The home provided everything you need if you want to save money and eat in. Overall, a great stay and would recommend

Located in the hills above the hub bub of Koloa and Poipu, this is a beautiful and serene home. It has great ventilation and sweet breezes from the trade winds. It is very quiet except for the roosters crowing and that was part of the charm. The home is very well appointed and the attention to detail is to be commended.
Faye and Bob were very welcoming and helpful in getting us oriented. We are looking forward to staying again.

I had one intern staying at this property for 10 weeks, he had an incredible stay. The home was clean, well stocked, in a great quiet location and safe! The owners were wonderful, they made his stay really nice and were very responsive. Hopefully we’ll rent this property out again!

I loved this property so much. The fruit trees and wildlife made the experience so much more special. I really loved the outdoor shower and the layout of the house was ideal. I can’t wait to book another stay! Very clean and comfortable. Owner was responsive when I had questions. No complaints!

The property was as described. A lovely house in the hills surrounded by fruit trees, and palms. Lovely bird song (including the roosters) to wake you. The lanai was our favorite spot to relax and listen to the birds and rain. The house is located within easy driving distance to areas around the south, east, and west of the island. We had no trouble finding it. The owners were accessible and friendly.

The house itself was gorgeous and we loved the location!! The sounds of nature gave us the best sleep we’ve ever had (really!).
The house was a bit in the wilderness but yet close enough to all the amenities such as restaurant and sites to explore. Close enough to all the fun without missing out on any of the natural beauty of Hawaii.
Having this beautiful and peaceful home to go back to really made our vacation perfect. We can’t thank Faye and Bob enough!
