Great house, great host. No issues, property well kept and host one of the best l ever had.
Cozy cottage on the beach. Perfect loft bedroom with a vaulted ceiling. Easy private acess to the beach. Owners were great to deal with. Appreciated the private driveway.
A very nice place with all a person could expect when staying on Oahu for an extended time. The host and hostess were a pleasure to be around and very hospitable and responsive to our every request. This place has it all, with ready access to the beach and all the other island amenities. We recommend this guesthouse to anyone!
Very nice house for a traveler. Loved the kitchen. Spent most evenings in a beach chair sipping on wine and watching the sunset go down. Even got an awesome treat of some dragon fruit, cucumber, and some freshly made cookies. Was in a quiet neighborhood, so coming in the evenings I felt safe.
Mike & Jeanette are wonderful hosts. This is our third time staying here & you can't go wrong. Convenient to everywhere you would like to go.
The guest house is spacious and clean. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We heard birds singing every morning. Walking on the beach in the early evening was beautiful and relaxing. Property manager met us on our first day and could not have been nicer or more helpful. Lots of crank windows allowed the trade winds to flow through the downstairs.
This beach house felt very private and is just a few steps away from the beach! We would highly recommend this place for others who would like to getaway from all the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and the traffic...and a great place to just sit and put your feet in the sand after a long day of venturing around the island. Also, the outdoor bbq/seating area was great for relaxing and enjoying the tradewinds with breakfast or dinner.
Mike was a very responsive and helpful host...a true home-away-from home!
This beach house was such a haven! We had such a great time in Oahu. The location is amazing. The stretch of Ewa Beach it sits on is a gorgeous, peaceful spot - beautiful sunrises and sunsets - picturesque view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from afar. You can enjoy the beauty, but not be stuck in the crowds of downtown. The house is so spacious, room to settle in and stretch out. The hosts keep it tidy, and have nice touches like local guidebooks & beach accessories. The bed is comfy, and the best part is sleeping with the ocean breeze coming through the windows every night. There is not only a full kitchen, with indoor seating, but an outdoor covered eating area as well!! We enjoyed the amenity of an in house washer and dryer - helped us cut down on what we packed and avoid the laundry mountain upon our return home! We felt safe and secure with a private entrance to the property and a gate to enclose our rental car when we were parked at home. Although we enjoyed the house, we spent a lot of time away from the rental as well - there are SO many things to enjoy and places to explore on the island. Mike gave us great local pointers on hikes and beaches on the West Coast. We enjoyed happy hour and live music in a resort in nearby Ko’Olina. Our host helped us plan out a circle island tour and not-miss spots! This was our second family trip to visit Oahu. We visited completely different sights each time and still have so much more to fill an itinerary with, next time! It was great to come back after a long day of adventures and relax and unwind in this home away from home. We loved this guesthouse, the hospitality we experienced, and how we were treated like Ohana here. Mahalo Mike!
