A couple of inaccuracies with the ad and information provided. It lists laundry, but then once you book the information is shared that you have to use the laundromat and pay extra. The next door unit had access to their laundry in suite and so did our previous rental in Maui Vista, so it was a bit of a disappointment not to have access to keep the host’s linens clean. The dishwasher was quite odorous. We’re a family who is on top of cleaning dishes and not leaving food or garbage out and we still dealt with ghost ants. It was no surprise to see a pest control sign go up for the complex for April 9th, 2025. The instructions for the door entry are outdated and caused a bit of confusion on entry. They mention a lockbox and key/taking the key with you etc., however you don’t use the lockbox at all - it’s a digital lock. Thankfully the host responded quickly during our late night arrival.The pull out sofa was not comfortable at all. We’re a petite family and were sinking right through it trying to watch a movie one night. Don’t plan for anyone to sleep on it.The location was great, we’ve just had better experiences with the small things like owners leaving macadamia nuts/coffee etc. on arrival, large shampoo and conditioner provided, and tourist books for us to read and fill out that made us feel more welcomed than an empty room.
The condo is in the perfect location in Kihei right across the street from the beach and next to multiple restaurants. Very safe and convenient complex. The lanai faces the pool. Great communication and proactive in covering any questions we might have had. Pack and play was very helpful for our baby. We highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!
Property was very nice. Our cell phones did not work in KiHei upon arrival for email access with instructions.The checkin office by the pool could not provide the lock code for our unit. Host did not answer phone to help us.
This property is directly across the street from a beautiful beach. We watched whales from the beach and the sunset every evening. The condo grounds are well kept and clean. The people are friendly.
This is our second year staying at the Kai Nani and it was another great stay. The condo was everything as posted. Well stocked unit with all the kitchen gadgets, beach chairs, umbrellas and ice chest. The bed was comfortable with extra pillows and linens. So close to the beach, shopping & Restaurants. Check in and check out was a breeze. All of the Kai Nani staff are so nice and helpful. Overall just another great stay. Thank you Lu for letting us stay at your home away. This suite is spectacular! The clean, modern, open concept makes the place feel spacious and airy. The location is perfect being close to the pool and laundry but is still nice and quiet. We really enjoyed spending time on the lanai for breakfast and for after beach evenings. The beach is just across the street - how wonderful is that?!
The kitchen has just about everything you could ever need and more. The bedroom has a really comfortable king size bed - not something you get often in vacation rentals!
The owners are wonderfully responsive and do a great job looking after their guests. We enjoyed every minute of our vacation and would not hesitate to recommend this suite to anybody.
The room was spacious, great, remodeled kitchen, laundry onsite was convenient, nice pool, fabulous people, great location right across the street from a very nice beach. Snorkeling at this beach was quite good and super convenient. Lu was an excellent host, we would definitely stay here again.

My husband and my friend stayed here for two weeks. The place was very clean and they had everything we needed for a wonder stay. The location was perect! If I had a question the owner got back to me quickly. We would stay here again in an instance!
Loved the condo. Owner was friendly and communicative. Location is great. Right across from beach. And right in the center of town so you’re able to walk to the stores and restaurants etc. condo had all we needed, although we weren’t there much at all. Too much to do in this great town. Loved Kihei.
Near stores, restaurants. Foodland is a bit of a walk. Minutes from the beach. No major complaints. Could use some more bowls and some sharper cutting knifes though. :) Would stay here again.
