We were in Maui for our nieces wedding. We got to stay the week and had a wonderful time. The accommodations and its location to the events were a big contributor to our experience! The place had all that you needed: pool, a short walk to the resorts and beaches! We overlooked a fairway on the golf course with a view of the marvelous sunsets! Thank you!

My daughter and I had a fabulous week stay at Brian’s condo. It is so bright and airy and cozy. It felt like a home away from home. We went to the pool almost everyday and there are many many choices for restaurants and coffee within walking distance. I enjoyed playing tennis at the next door tennis club. We will be back for sure.
Very nice condo. Very comfortable. Had all the amenities. A little dated. Check in was easy, but I personally hate the lock box with the key inside. Very difficult to maneuver. Glad we didn't have to use it every time we went in or out. Owner/manager was delightful and easy to work with. Good price.
The condo is very clean and in an amazing location in the condo complex and next to the best restaurants and the Wailea shopping center super close to beach but up a bit away from the noise. The views were beautiful of the golf course and ocean. It is a bit dated, but the price can’t be beat so you have to weigh that in. Communication was great and it was super quiet.
When title says complete remodel - most people think recent remodel not 14 years ago as owner admitted when questioned. Unit is tired and needs another remodel.View is greatA/C filters extremely dirty along with coils on AC units. Pretty sure reason I got cold. Routine cleaning and maintenance seemed lacking especially as in a wet / high humidity climate like HI.The shower windows, screens and shutters were disgusting, towel racks had layer of grime, fake plant in bathroom 1 was filthy and likely a biohazard.Bathroom 1 mirror on medicine cabinet had spots were mirror was gone. Master bathroom shower was terrible. Bedroom could have used a paint job eons ago. Most units we stay in have multiple pillows so guests can find pillow style they like, nope just 2 tired pillows, bought a couple new ones at target and left them. Kitchen have fry pans with teflon coating which I think was outlawed at least a decade ago, so we abandoned plans to cook breakfast in unit after first time.When numbers on clock in the microwave have burned out it is indication that time has come.Need to do a deep clean of everything - Everything was at best dirty and hopefully not mold and mildew growing. Need to spend time and money and do a one week clean and air out of unit. But they did clean carpets.We love that complex as have stayed there multiple times in other units - they just need to clean unit and then advertise as value option
We absolutely loved our stay in Kihei! The complex felt so lovely, quiet, and safe, truly a peaceful oasis. The unit itself was bright, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with stunning views of the golf course and the ocean right from the balcony. Waking up to those views every morning was such a dream.The location was perfect—just a short walk to great restaurants, cozy cafes, and of course, the beach. Communication with the host was also great, we had to switch our departure time and they were very accommodating. The whole experience had such calm, tropical, resort-like vibes. Couldn’t have asked for a better home base for our Maui trip. Highly recommend!

Great spot walkable to beach shops and restaurants
We have stayed in several units at the GC over the years, and all have been at 4.5-5 stars. This was the most underwhelming unit we've stayed in which is why we gave it 3.
The good:
Owners are responsive. They were kind enough to allow for an early check-in and slightly early check-out, though we find this standard with the other owners of GC units. Bed was comfortable as were pillows.
The Grand Champions itself is wonderful. Great location, quiet, walking distance to the Shops at Wailea, beaches, the grounds have 2 nice pools and is very pretty.
The bad:
Unit itself is in desperate need of a deep clean, walls painted, carpet cleaning and to be treated for termites, pest control, lots of mold in shower. NOT updated though the ad will tell you it is. Shower head calcified and leaking. Coffee maker is old and doesn't work well. LV rm AC unit filter was FILTHY. Very sparse in the way of dishes, utensils, and the pots and pans were old and damaged. Zero salt, pepper, spices in the kitchen. One roll of paper towels for our week+ stay. No extra TP - owners live nearby so did drop some but extra should have been left. There were 2 coolers for the beach but one was rusty and didn't roll (had wheels) while the other soft cooler's strap was missing so you could not carry it. Beach chairs were old, missing attached pillows, etc. Batteries in the tv remote were dead. Stereo in living room is 10+ years old and not compatible for modern devices and reception too poor for radio.
I have stayed at other properties in this same neighborhood over the years, and this one is the best. The condo is clean and well stocked with the necessities for a comfortable "at home" style stay. The deck overlooked the golf course which was entertaining, for not always good reasons as the golfers may say, and you could also see the ocean. It was a wonderful stay.
We loved our stay at unit 168! The condo is a spacious, upstairs corner unit with a beautiful balcony view, in a fantastic location at Grand Champions. The bed was extremely comfortable and the complex was peaceful and quiet. The beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella provided were so helpful for all our beach days! We also appreciated Brian and Marie-Christine's responsive communication - everything was a breeze! Thanks for an amazing stay.
Everything was great! Its a spacious top level condo with everything you would need. Beautiful view off the balcony. Walkable to the beach, golf course, and restaurants/shops. And Brian communicated very well and made everything simple and easy.
