Fantastic location and accommodated our family of 12 quite nicely, however after making our full payment amenities that were listed began to fall by the wayside. Non working oven, non working dishwasher, exercise equipment no longer available etc. Had several email conversations expressing our total disappointment, but were told by management that repairs/ replacements take time in Kauai, OK, then perhaps a bit of compensation should be considered and discussed. They had my full payment for what originally was a fully functioning vacation rental and no offer of refunds to look elsewhere. Experienced a few hiccups during our stay, skylight in unit above garage had been compromised allowing birds to set up encampment between roof and ceiling chirping and scurrying around disrupting those sleeping in the unit. Management did send out a crew to seal off the issue, but don’t believe got all the birds removed prior to closing off. Deadbolt on front door over our stay became an issue, was very hard to engage the deadbolt or unlock unless you lifted up hard on the handle. Outdoor deck chairs were in poor condition limiting use of deck table for dining. And the true kicker which was never mentioned in any reviews, the stinking crowing roosters that go off at all hours.Our time together as a family in Kauai was awesome despite our issues with rental, sense this property has real potential to meet the price point with some meticulous TLC to wear and tear and better detailed maintenance.
Wonderful accomodations for 3family units. Wouldhave been nice to have a desk(ßeating in the separate bedroom.

Great location, very roomy and unique.
My husband and had to vacate this property and did not even stay there one night. Indeed, we did not stay there for more than two hours. Due to covid quarantine restrictions on Kauai and other circumstances keeping us on the south shore, we did not get to the home until 1/11/20.
When we arrived, we found dead cockroaches and centipedes on the floor. The master bedroom was swelteringly hot and there were gecko droppings on the bedding. Parts of the home also had a strong moldy/musty smell.
Instead of staying in these unhealthy and uninhabitable conditions, we found a hotel and drove back to the south shore which required us to throw out much of the food we had brought.
I requested a full refund due to the, breach of the warranty of habitability of the rental property. However, the homeowner did not take responsibility for the condition of the home or honor our request for a refund. This home should not be listed . It is NOT as advertised.
Terrific house, beautiful location.
Was perfect for our group of 6. The guest house over the garage and pool table were why we rented this home. Everything was beautiful with many communal spaces inside and out for lounging. Beautiful views of the mountains, and the ocean can be seen too. Super close drive to Princeville center for most all of ones needs. The house was well equipped for meal prep with high quality kitchen supplies. Would love to return!!
We had a fantastic time staying at this property. It was awesome having some beaches within walking distance, and the house is beautiful. The views from the upstairs master bedroom are stunning and we really enjoyed spending time hanging out of the front deck in the sun. Would definitely recommend!
Overall we had a great stay with three couples. Early check in and late check out accommodated kindly and the grounds are beautiful. A few notes however:
The portable ac unit upstairs continually tripped the fuse making it unbearable upstairs during the day.
It was also quite hot in the enclosed porch and general living areas.
The hot tub was totally unusuable. It was dirty and our test strips showed chemicals were not properly adjusted for use.
The guest cottage was also way too hot to be in during much of the day despite an AC unit.
The house is large and unique in a secluded part of the sandpiper subdivision. We found Sealodge beach easily and highly recommend it.

Loved our stay overall, it worked well for our 2 families. Loved that there was a big enough table seating all of us. The location is great, quick access to several dining options and a supermarket. Short drives to north shore beaches. To set realistic expectations: the furniture does not look new, neither do the carpets. The rooms smelled a bit musty at our arrival. None of this diminished our stay.
