*** Maui Coast, the property next door to us, is currently building a 6 story building add on to their property. Construction begins most days around 7:00am and goes through 4:00 - 5:00pm so there is a possibility of construction noise during these hours.
We welcome you to our pristine and inviting Pacific Shores condo which features beautiful mountain and ocean views and is nestled directly across the street from Charley Young/ Kamaole I Beach. We take great pride in providing not only a comfortable place for our guests to stay, but we also do our best to make sure our guests have a great time visiting the "Valley Isle!"
To make sure our home is comfortable for everyone, we have an efficient split air conditioning system which has vents in the bedroom and living area! Most days and nights, the trade winds do a great job of keeping our condo nice and cool, however, some days the trade winds are not present and our condo can get a little warm. Over the past few years we have had a few guests mention to us that our bedroom can get warm, even with the windows open and fans blowing (check out our reviews!). So we listened and now have a new A/C system installed to make sure that every guest is comfortable, even on the hottest Maui days!
Our fully equipped kitchen with new quartz countertops, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster and all cookware, glassware and utensils offers the convenience to prepare full meals and store leftovers from neighboring restaurants.
Comfortable furnishings include a queen sized bed in the bedroom with soft, luxurious sheets; a new queen sized sleeper sofa with a comfortable memory foam mattress; fresh clean linens and towels.
LED HD TV and free cable television is included along with free wireless broadband internet and free parking.
To help you pack less and make your beach excursions more enjoyable, we have a complete set of beach gear available for your use. Beach chairs, coolers, beach umbrella, sand toys for the keikis, beach towels, and beach bags are ready for you to take to the beach.
Need to do laundry? We have a clothes washer and dryer inside our condo!
The condo is located on the third floor, very close to the elevator, easily accessible to those who can't handle stairs or walk long distances, or those who simply don't want to haul their luggage and groceries up the stairs!
Pacific Shores is located across the street from Charley Young ...

Pool not open, bbqs unavailable. Water leaked into condo when it rained.

I came to Maui for a (surprise) 50th bday party of a friend who lives there. I rented the condo several months before the trip. Its cute, clean, and comfortable. I didn't give it a 5-star rating because I felt that they didn't adequately reveal that there is a construction site next door and that it is the main view from the condo. Also, I got an email about 3 weeks before the trip saying that the pool was under construction as well. Finally, a nice and appreciated touch would have been coffee... There is a pot, but no coffee and no welcoming touches that many hosts choose to provide these days. Thankfully, there is an ABC store 5 mins away (walking). The construction will likely take many more months. I would consider coming back after that is finished.

Good property in respect 1. beach stuff provided 2. washer and dryer 3. decent location near tourist attractions/beach and owner doesn't ask guest to do anything prior to checkout though we did anyhow
Renters BEWARE 1. there is no pool (jackhammer was ripping it up each day) 2. water was off an entire day (the day I was attending a wedding- we got to hotel around 2 when i had to leave for wedding at 4 after snorkeling, hiking, etc. it was not fun) w/o notice and or alternative solution turns out property manager sent an email but who is checking email when in MAUI???? no text despite previous texts about nothing, sigh 3. construction in lot next door was not disclosed and does not appear in photos (funny our quiet time goes until 8 a.m. but one day construction started at 0638- property management tried to deny construction anywhere). Some of this may have been fine if it had been disclosed and we got a discount for the inconveniences; however, it was not. We will not be returning.

We really enjoyed having access to the pool and beach accessories (chairs, sun shade, toys). The beach is a five minute walk from the unit, and a great spot for sunsets. Of note though: When we booked, the ad showed a balcony view of a green area... this area is now a huge construction site which becomes very noisy at 6 AM on weekdays. We would have liked to be informed beforehand, because we would have probably booked another unit.

I came to Maui to take a divemaster class. The condo is well equipped, in a great location, and is well served by the split level a/c and washer/dryer. The complex was quiet and everyone with the management team was helpful. The queen bed was comfortable too. This is a great find. I would love to stay here again.

The condo faces south so quite hot on the lanai. Fortunately the owner has put in a very effective HVAC system and lots of fans. The 180 deg view is Haleakala on the left and the ocean on the right. It is by no means luxury but well equipped with beach gear for a family, which is overstuffed because only one bedroom. The lanai is small entirely taken up by a/c units, two chairs & patio table. Good for solo or couple…the beach is across the road, a 6 min walk. It is about 10 min walk to ABC convenience store and great little restaurants in Dolphin Plaza. On the bus line. The lanai overlooks an apartment under construction which is noisy starting at 7:00 six days a week. I don’t think this was in the VRBO listing but should have been and discount clearly given. The photo is misleading, showing trees where there is now a construction site. The unit has a few upgrades and some components not of rental quality. It does have the advantage of being in the front building on 3rd floor with better views than others in Pacific Shores.

After dark it was difficult to see the numbers on the dead bolt key pad, always carried a flash light if we knew we were returning to the condo after dark.

Located near an ABC store and a beautiful beach. Close walk. The place is super quiet, very respectful neighbor. Also, very clean! Will definetly stay again on my next visit!
