We are very sorry that the Maui Government is trying to use fear tactics to get the short term rentals to give up our homes to help solve their mistakes. In January we had to opportunity to speak with some very influential people here, and they assured us there is nothing the government can do to force us to convert to long term. If these people are incorrect, and the government was able to force us to cancel your booking, then your booking would be refunded regardless of the refund policy.

Lahaina fires were a tragedy, but even worse, most of the locals are now out of a job, and it is because 80% of the west side economy is based on tourists. We need you, and we need you to book ASAP, any place on the North West Side of Maui. Please help us get the locals back to work, Thank you!

This home is a rare configuration at Papakea. There are at most 2 in each building. I am talking about a top floor, 3 bedroom (including the large loft) home with the master bedroom having wall to wall windows that allow you to see the ocean, pool, putting green, and Koi pond the same view as the Lanai! This is the most desired configuration in the resort.

These are beautiful 2011, again in 2014, and again in 2017 renovated three bedroom (one bedroom is a large loft), two bath with vaulted ceilings on the 4th/top floor at the fantastic Papakea Resort! Our Condo's remodels in August 2011 was by well known high end Builder/Designer Mike Harvey. You will not believe how great it turned out as the pictures do not do this unit justice (again see reviews :-) ). The kitchen's are decked out with “Exotic wood” cabinets accented with all Stainless Steel Appliances and Gorgeous Granite counter tops. The bedroom's have been furnished with the same high end furniture used in the top hotels in Kaanapali Beach. Imagine waking up from your king bed in the morning and looking out your bedroom window and seeing a serene Koi pond, lush green lawns with putting green, with the back drop of a whale filled turquoise ocean, nothing closer to heaven! The second bedroom has been outfitted with a Queen Bed with the same high end furniture (the whole unit has these great furnishings). The third bedroom, the loft, stands at top of a classic spiral staircase. It is a giant space so it has both a queen bed and two twin beds and a queen folding mattress you can unfold and ...

Our team was on the island for work and wanted a quiet, clean property to return to. This was one of 3 properties we rented. We really enjoyed this property and the communication with their owners. We would highly recommend staying here!

We ended up having to find a new condo after our existing reservation at another locale was cancelled a few weeks before our trip. This was a great find! Lovely view from the master bedroom and lanai of the grounds and ocean. We could hear the ocean waves at night from the bedroom. Kitchen a bit cramped when multiple people were around, but we made do. Great grilling facilities in the complex. Condo could use a few more pots and sharpened knives. Appreciated the various beach gear - a few chairs, boogie boards and snorkel gear.
