While the picture is a bit misleading (pool is on site, but not the view from our particular condo, the beach was viewed) both the beach and the pool were thoroughly enjoyed. The condo itself made us feel "right at home". It is decorated nicely and we found it to be very clean. Kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated the condiments in the frig. Bathrooms were spacious and plenty of towels were provided. Pool and beach equipment was so appreciated(as was the iron). Lovely location and easy to navigate the area. We would stay again of the opportunity arose.
The place was great! Location is perfect. Near everyrhing but not in the middle of too much traffic. The pool is perfect for watching the sunset also. The owners were veey nice and answered all my questions very quickly! I would stay here again!
We had recently stayed in a rental directly above this one and knew both the location and the amenities available. The location is unbeatable and the apartment itself was okay except for 1 thing. BUGS. The apartment had hundreds of dead bugs all over the apartment and many flying bugs. There were bugs in the bedding, in the fridge, in the bathroom drawers and all over the floor. We spent less than an hour in the apartment and ended up with 4 bites.The property manager first said that that there are a few bugs to there are periodic infestations of black gnats but it's okay since they don't bite (!!) to asking us to identify the specific insects.
We are first timers using a VRBO and checking in was a little confusing. I missed seeing the email with the check in directions. The location was great! Upon arrival everything was neat and tidy, then the AC wouldn't work. I called and within 48hours it got recharged, however every 2-3 days we needed to call to get it recharged again. Then when game 7 of the NBA playoffs was happening; the cable wasn't working. I called and they sent a cable person over promptly to fix it. Unfortunately my team didn't win. Each time I had a question or another problem would come up they were very kind and quick to help, which was nice.The property grounds were well maintained. We used the pool, hot tub, the outdoor barbeque, the outside shower to get the sand off our feet, the beach across the street and there was ample parking spaces. Even when coming back at midnight. The beach across the street was easy to get to. I enjoyed not having to get in the car again, drive again and then find a parking spot. In the kid's bedroom there was sand chairs/buckets, an umbrella, a cooler, swim noodles, a beach bag, board games and snorkeling stuff. In the basket on the coffee table were things to do Hawaii books and a picture book of fish you could see while snorkeling. I never found a cookie sheet while staying their, so we microwaved our chicken nuggets and corndogs.I would stay at this location again, just not this unit until I could confirm the AC was permanently fixed.

We loved the location, pool and hot tub. Drivable to many shops and restaurants. Felt safe. Nice to have boogie boards available for us to use.
The condo was stocked with tons of gear for the daily trips around the big island. The condo was clean and had nice amenities. The manager was quick to respond and help fix issues quickly. The bed and pillows need a bit of an updating, but noone seems to mind since the activities kept us tired. The owners give you a brief summary of many amazing places, but you still need to do some research. The condo is situation just of the street from a great snorkeling spot. Harbor, restaurants, grocery are up the street. We will return if able.
My family and I enjoyed our time at this condo. It was clean, had everything we needed and was in a great location. Neighborhood was quiet and right across the road from an amazing snorkeling spot. Gail provided extras for the beach including boogie boards, beach chairs, a cooler, pool noodles and snorkel gear. The view from the lanai is great and the kids enjoyed the pool. We were super comfortable and wished we could have stayed longer. I wouldnt hesistate to book this place again.
It was perfect. Great location, super comfortable, and lots of kid amenities. Really appreciated the closed in lanai for the little one.

Property is as described, located at a good location with easy access to beaches, restaurants. Condo is clean with sufficient amenities. We have a small issue with the microwave oven and the property manager on site (Britney) went beyond and had it replaced the next day (ie. on a Sunday). We highly recommend the property if you need a safe and clean place to unwind after long days of activities.
Great place, just as described. Well stocked with everything you need. Great snorkeling right across the street. Shower had excellent pressure too!

We spent 2 weeks enjoying the condo, meals on the lanai, swims in the pool. Great area...lots to see and do. Loved the snorkeling beach across the road..
This unit was amazing! Loved sitting out on the patio every day watching snorkels and sunrises and sunsets! Unit had everything including water toys snorkel stuff!
We didnt want to leave and we want to go back already! We are a family of 5, with 3 young children. In addition to the beach, my husband and I enjoy nice restaurants, and being able to relax and enjoy a few drinks together in a nice atmosphere, shopping and exploring and doing family activities and things with the kids.
Gail's condo was 100% exactly what and where we needed it! It was spacious, clean, comfortable and well laid-out. It had everything we needed and more, including a gorgeous view from the lanai and a great pool and hot tub, that the kids really enjoyed. The location was fantastic and right across the street from a wonderful little beach, and a short drive from everything else we needed! The property manager was super helpful and our stay could not have gone better. We are so thankful that we found this location and highly recommend it to anyone, with or without kids. The property was great. It was clean, close to everything, and had lots of amenities.
You cannot best across the street access to one of best snorkeling spots in Kona. It was a great stay, the condo was well stocked and had all the things needed for a family of four to be comfortable.
The check-in process was a bit bumpy but VRBO and the hosts were responsive and got it all ironed out quickly.
Great location, but overall 3.5 stars because of old, tired bedding, towels, cushions, dusty fake plants and kitchenware.
We had an amazing first trip to the Big Island and loved every minute of our stay (5 nights at this terrific condo and then 3 nights in Pahoa). A fantastic location and a great patio with a wonderful ocean view. Perfect size for a family of four, but sleeping arrangements were a little tight for a family with three teens. Hardly mattered as we were out and about most of the time enjoying the beautiful island.
Clean, well-equipped property conveniently located across the street from a great snorkel spot in the west side of Big Island! Host was attentive and respectful, with a wealth of information on what to do during our stay. Will keep this place in mind when we visit the island again!

Wonderful location, Great views from balcony and short distance to all shops and restaurants. Me and the fam had a wonderful time, snorkeling across the street, great experience , will definitely do it again. When we had to much beach we came back and Bar-B-Q'd poolside with amazing views of beach. Good times for all.

We stayed here for a staycation for my daughter’s birthday with two of our friends. The unit was clean and very comfortable! The host and the manager were excellent to work with! We would definitely return!
