My 4th time renting this house
The Royal Hawaiian Estate was the perfect place to host our family reunion. We were able to have 5 families stay under one roof and still have plenty of space to have privacy. The large kitchen was well designed to provide everything you need to feed 21 people. With a third of our group being children ranging from newborn to 10-year old, we appreciated the protective gates management put up before we arrived that made the home very safe, to the relief of all the adults. The pool and slide were a hit with both adults and children, especially when winds picked up and the beach in front of the house was pretty choppy. The sandy beach in front of the private beach access gate depicted in some images is a little deceiving. When we stayed there over New Years there was no sandy beach and so we rarely used the access gate since the waves were crashing up against the property wall making it difficult for people to walk through. The snorkeling though was amazing, with turtles appearing all over. The response from the house manager was very good during our stay. He was usually able to respond that same day for our requests for more drinking water when the drinking water stations ran out and when we had issues with hot water in some of the bathrooms. We would recommend this home for anyone looking for a luxury family-friendly place to stay on Oahu!
The house and property were lovely. So many things to do with the pool, kayaking, snorkeling, or cooking up a great meal (in the fully equipped kitchen!). There was room for everyone and lots of little corners where one to escape and have some quiet time. This was the perfect place to call home base for a week.
We had a toddler in the family and the owners baby-proofed the whole place and we all had a delightful stay. The rooms are amazing and the yard and ocean access are fantastic. The public park next to us was a bit loud but really not invasive.
We had several catered dinners that were perfect and a terrific luau show on our lawn.
The experience was wonderful!! This spot is great for large family groups and carefree for toddlers.
The house was spotless and the beach toys were great. Snorkeling, kayaks and beach chairs were all well-kept and easy to use.
The elevator allowed a guest with a wheelchair and made the place accessible.
We had all our adult Children and Grandchildren at this lovely home for 8 nights. The views where so beautiful! The snorkeling was great even on stormy days due to it's location ( protected by an outer reef). Just down the beach is a perfect wading area for toddlers. Of course it was difficult to tear ourselves away from the pool and slide area. They had all the fun toys for pool and beach, plus snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrellas etc.
The home itself was so roomy all 16 of us had plenty of room to stretch out and the game room was the best.
We had Jen from Barre Kailue come 4 of the days for a great ocean side workout. We would return to this property in a heart beat!
House was wonderful. Lots of room and very well kept. Chef Mike did a wonderful job for us the entire stay. Only drawback is you're right next to a park on the beach that is busy 24/7. Park was very loud at night and we had loud music playing 4 nights of our stay until the wee hours of the morning and several of the mornings got very loud around sunrise. With that said, The house itself was GREAT.
Our entire family just loved staying in this beautiful home. It quite literally had EVERYTHING that we needed from high chairs to locked stairs to a gourmet, perfectly equipped kitchen to the fabulous and well-loved by the children pool slide! Our adult kids used the paddle boards and we all loved the beach access. It could not have been better!!!
Our large family, 16 to 79 years, stayed at this unbelievable house for a week to celebrating my husband & my 60th anniversary. Everything in the description could not be more correct...it was even better when we were actually there.
Everything about the property was extremely clean & beautiful. The man who took care of the property was so helpful & frienly. He came everyday to make sure everything was running well. He even bought groceries for us before we arrived. It was so wonderful for all of us to be in one house & at the same time the house is large enough that everyone could have enough privacy if they so desired. The kitchen is fantastic. We cooked all of our meals there, even Thanksgiving.

Some of our group went hiking, some went to see the Pearl Harbor museum & others went to a well know beach. Some of us just enjoyed the house, the pool & just being there.
Several families stayed for one week at this property. It was an amazing time. Easy gathering for all the families with plenty of room. The pool, pool slide, and hot tub were great retreats for adults and kids after stepping through the front gate into the ocean for great snorkeling. The amenities are too numerous to count. Top notch kitchen appliances, beverage fridges and ice makers on every level. Pool and ocean gear is plentiful. No reason to leave the estate!
Beautiful!! Beautiful!! Great house, plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Loved the Pool and being able to walk out back gate right into the ocean!! Public beach next door but was so great to see families using it.
