Wonderful condo with everything we needed. Located right next to both the beach and the pool meant easy access to both but also a high traffic area for other tenants. Comfortable and would stay here again.
Stayed here for 7 nights in July with my husband and two young kids (ages 4 and 7 years old). Perfect location in Kapaa. Within walking distance to Safeway for groceries, shaved ice, multiple restaurants. Easy driving distance from most places on the island (about 20 min from the Lihue airport, 50 min from the northshore, 35 min from the south shore cities).Condo itself is comfortable with 1 room with a king bed and another small room with two twin beds. It has a sliding door for privacy between the room itself and the living area. Amazing location wise in terms of proximity to the ocean and to the nice pool. My kids loved swimming in the pool everyday.Pros: clean, kitchen was well equipped, dishwasher, fridge, pots, pans, etc. Nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Very basic spices and cooking oils etc. We bought everything we needed for the week to make breakfasts and lunches at Safeway. Location was ideal. Cons: no air conditioning so it was hot and humid most of the time. Can’t really leave windows open due to the rain and wind. No kid friendly tableware in the kitchen. Not that big of a deal if you’re ok with your children using glass and ceramic plates/glasses but it was nerve-wracking that they might break something. Tried to contact property manager Sheila to ask if an early check-in could be accommodated since our flight was changed and arrived at 9am instead of 1pm and I never heard back from her despite leaving a voicemail with my callback info.
Great condo! Small complex so it felt like a private beach. Met a ton of great people around us. The condo was perfect, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I will be back! Thank you for helping me have a wonderful vacation.
Beautiful location right on the beach. I enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning. We had a problem with the TV and the property manager responded quickly and replaced the TV that was broken. It was a base camp for our Kauai adventures
Overall excellent property. It was clean, had everything we needed and was steps from the ocean. The location was incredibly convenient, checkin and communication were both very efficient and easy. This is a very well-managed property with insight care who clearly take pride in the property and the service they provide. I will say that the ocean breezes and fans kept us mostly okay at night in July! But, if being a little warm at night is a deal breaker for you—consider that there is no AC. Manageable for us and, we felt, a great trade off for us given the ocean-side location. Also, the 2nd bedroom is actually an extension of the sitting area with a large frosted glass pocket door (or Shoji door). This worked great for our teen and 10 year old but might not have been enough privacy for older kids/more adults. Again, overall an excellent property and stay!

The room and grounds were good. The property next door was under construction and an eyesore. Twice there were transient looking people on the property that did not belong. The living room window leaked badly when it rained, and it rained quite a bit. The add also said there was a gym. There is not. The pool was very well maintained and the host had beach chairs and boogie boards to use at the beach which was nice.
The condo was just steps from the beach and the pool. Near a lot of great restaurants, beaches and Safeway. Well stocked with all the beach needs: chairs, coolers, even towels! Some spots around the house were dusty. Didn't realize the unit had no A/C. Not a big deal, but needed to keep windows and doors open at night for air circulation. Washer/dryer was in the bathroom. That wasn't clear from the description, but was glad it was there! Owner was very kind and responsive. Grounds staff were all very friendly.

Perfect location, easy access to the whole island. Best island experience ever! We will definitely be coming back to Kauai and staying at this location.
20 steps to the beach, yes, but not a beach you could actually swim in (not a big deal for me but YMMV). Got by with no a/c but I _really_ liked listening to the ocean at night, which is why I selected this property. 5 stars for that, but minus one for the beds. The king bed is actually 2 twins stuck together (not a big deal) but they are worn out. I had to sleep on the "hump" in the middle. I especially liked having a cigar every night at the beach with no hassles (I brought my own ash tray). The hot water always ran out but you get used to testing when it is available.So there you have it, the good, bad and ugly. Would I return? No, not with those beds but otherwise yes. We really liked Kapaa even though it is very trafficy. Again, we got used to it and found the people there extremely friendly. Shout out to the Big Wave Dave's bar and grille, we will miss the folks there. And a big Mahalo to Jay for being responsive to our needs!
Overall, everything was good to great. Kids had fun in the pool. I enjoyed the lounge chairs along the beach. The nice central location made it easy to explore the south and north sides of the island. Proximity to grocery store was convenient. Pool was small but nice. Really appreciated the daily pool maintenance and cleaning. The end unit condo is perfectly situated in the complex w easy access to the beach and pool. We also appreciated the snorkel gear, boogie boards, floaties, and chairs in the storage room. Very nice amenity. The beach isn’t super swimable at this location but amazing beaches are close. Sheila was very responsive but the internet and pool codes weren’t provided. The kitchen is well stocked w cooking pans and utensils. Overall we enjoyed the low key and mellow vibe of this place and would return here.
It was a great little property. Beautiful sunrises. One of the best condo locations on the property. Very clean and had lots of amenities. The only thing i would complain about was the 2nd bedroom. Not really any privacy and beds killed my back
My stay here was just right. Very clean and comfortable. Sheila was friendly and very helpful, location was just what I needed. Wonderful and easy experience. Mahalo!!
This was a nice condo that you can just walk out the back door and walk right on the beach! There are lawn chairs that are there that you can sit in and watch the waves!

This place was such a nice spot for our vacation. Such a cute little unit with an amazing view. One thing to consider is air conditioning. Our unit did not have air conditioning. They do have lots of fans available to use which was really nice. The air conditioning situation didn't bother us at all but if you are someone who needs air conditioning this might be an inconvenience. Also the beach. The walk is super easy and it it right there. Although beautiful it is not quite swimable because of the rocks. It is only minor because swimable areas are available just down the way! such an amazing place it was perfect for my family!!
Nice, clean and modern. We liked the separate area for teens with its own door. Great location too.
Everything about this location is perfect. Literally steps from the beach as the listing describes. All the amenities you can possibly need - even had some basic cooking ingredients/seasonings in the pantry (which were maybe left by previous guests). My two kids (10 and 8) also enjoyed their own bed each.
The washer was broken which would have caused a minor inconvenience. But hey, unforeseen and uncontrollable things can happen at any time. What matters is how the hosts handle those situations. Jay was quick to respond and Sheila helped us get our laundry done. So it all worked out in the end. I believe Jay said he's getting a replacement so subsequent guests shouldn't have this issue.
The only issue I can think of is that the electronic door lock sometimes took a couple tries to unlock. But again, minor issue which I believe will get resolved soon.
Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here on our next trip to Kauai!
We absolutely loved this place. Very convenient for beach access, swimming pool, grocery store and more. It was very clean which my wife loved. We travelled all over the island hiking and the location made it very easy to get around the island. Only 20 yards from the beach and beautiful views of the ocean. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was in a great location and steps away from the water and sand. Even saw a Monk seal right on the beach, perfect spot for watching the sunrise. Well maintained property and the kitchen had all the amenities you need to do any in house cooking.
Jay was amazing to deal with and had all the information we needed in advance of our stay. Highly recommend and hope to stay again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay very much! Condo was in good condition and supplied very well. We liked the walkability to stores and restaurants. Having the ocean a stones throw away was great!
