Here, you’ll enjoy the best of both worlds, with elegant and upscale Princeville outside your door and eclectic and bohemian Hanalei, just two miles down the road. The Kilauea lighthouse is less than 7 miles away, with its stunningly beautiful ocean views and regular sightings of the Nene goose, Hawaii’s state bird.

Overlooking the tropical foliage outside the front door is a lovely carpeted bedroom, furnished with a twin bed, armoire and nightstand. Tall hedges afford privacy and a triple bay window offers plenty of light and cool breezes.

Up one short flight of stairs is the main living area, with vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors. The open concept floor plan allows the group to easily interact and creates a big, open space for everyone to enjoy. Classic island furnishings add an air of grace and overlook the stunning mountain views on the lanai. There’s a lovely spot to sip your morning coffee or evening beverage.

A gourmet kitchen will be the delight of the family chef. Boasting abundant cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and granite counters, and plenty of natural light through a big window, gastronomic delights will surely emerge from this welcoming space.

Those delights will then be enjoyed at the formal dining table for 6, overlooking a bay window with views of swaying palms and other Hawaiian flora.

One of the two generous master suites is also located on this level, all the way at the front of the great room for maximum privacy. This carpeted suite offers a king size bed and private lanai with the same verdant mountain views. The en-suite bath has dual vanities and a large, luxurious glass block shower.

The lower level boasts the additional master suite with double door entry. This large and private space offers an elegant king size bed, upscale island furnishings and a cozy corner relaxation/meditation area with a chaise lounge. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed or stay tremendously. The view of the mountains from the lenai were amazing. We enjoyed our coffee every morning on the lenai listening to the birds and roosters. The house was beautiful and spacious, however there is no air conditioning in the smaller bedroom which made it a bit hard to sleep in if you are not used to the climate. The house could have been cleaner as well, especially considering that there is a $355 cleaning fee that we had to pay. The oven hood was greasy and the high touch areas around the doors had visible dirt, and looked like they had not been wiped clean for some time. It might not bother most people but I am a bit of a clean freak.

Imagine our surprise when we entered your home for the first time! The property was very spacious and modern. The house was immaculate and we also appreciated the separation of floors that allowed us to have a degree of privacy. The house did not have air conditioning in one bedroom which could be difficult for some . All and all the house was well appointed with towels, kitchen utensils and lovely patios. We would give this property five stars!

We thoroughly enjoyed this rental-would definitely come again. Our party of 5 had plenty of space, the beds were comfy, the kitchen was well equipped with dishes, pots/pans, a regular coffee maker and a Keurig, a spice cabinet with items from past guests, which was a nice surprise. The view of the mountains from the living room was unmatched-waterfalls and rainbows were seen daily. Each bedroom is on its own level of the house. Bottom floor has a large king suite with a/c, bathroom, and patio. Laundry room is also on the bottom level. The entry level has a bedroom with a full size bed (no a/c, but does have a ceiling fan) and a full bathroom across the hall. The top level has a king bedroom with a/c, bathroom and small patio, as well as the living, kitchen, and dining areas. Also the main deck. The living room couch could use new cushions, as they are getting a little flat from use, but otherwise all the furniture was very comfy. There is a small garage with room for one car, and lots of beach equipment. We found pool noodles and floats, boogie boards, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, and lots of snorkel equipment. Management was responsive and welcoming Neighborhood was very tranquil. Walk to Nourish Hanalei for an açaí bowl, then walk the Old Club Med trail (about a mile), ending with a great view of Hanalei Bay or at Pu’u Poa beach if you take the fork to the right. Foodland is just up the road Close to Hanalei Bay. You won’t regret staying here!

We loved our stay… the condo was spacious and very well equipped. Great location and Meredith was very helpful. One of our umbrellas was broken and she replaced it the next day. Would definitely recommend!
