Clean and comfortable! Dianne the host is very responsive and thoughtful.The beach across the street is a wonderful place to set up for a day of sun and fun. Good selection of food and drinks within walking distance.
We had an amazing stay in Kihei Akahi D614! Diane our host was wonderful - helpful but not intrusive. Condo was delightful - tastefully decorated, recently renovated - loved the natural river stone floor in shower, a/c in bedroom and main area worked well. Appliances were upgraded. View was splendid and breathtaking! Wonderful trip creating so many great memories!!!
My husband and I stayed at Diane's condo and had a delightful time! The views from the 6th floor lanai were incredible. We enjoyed waking up each morning and sipping on our coffee while listening to the birds and taking in the ocean view. The condo had everything we needed for our time on Maui. We used the two Tommy Bahama beach chairs (with built in coolers) and umbrella to enjoy time at many of the beautiful beaches in the area. There is a nearby beach that honu (Hawaiian sea turtles) rest on and we saw them laying out during most of our late day walks. The condo has one snorkel set and we took turns using it to explore the nearby reefs. The key code entry door made it perfect for us to leave everything behind and walk to the beach to swim while not worrying about where to put a house or car key. The condo was spotlessly clean. The kitchen in the condo has everything you need to cook your own meal and we used it often (there are oils, salt and pepper, but bring your own spices). The design of the building and 6th floor is ideal for enjoying the trade winds. We never needed to turn on the AC.We would not hesitate book our next Maui vacation at Diane's condo. Great Location, owner responded immediately to questions. Its clear that a lot of thought went into the arrangements as well as the items that are available to use. Highly Recommended, hope to return sometime in the future.
The property was just what we needed and the location was ideal to get around the island to just grabbing a bite locally and walking to the beach. We wouldn’t change a thing!
Apartment was well appointed with a kitchen very well stocked. If you like cooking, it’s great with all you need. Close enough to walk to the beach and nice views from the top floor, towards the back of the development. It’s a busy area with many condos along Kehei road. A few restaurants and shops close by to walk. Had beach chairs, umbrella and towels which was nice for days at the beach. Only reasons for 4 instead of 5 stars is the furniture is a bit dated and not the most comfortable and a bed which was small for the 2 of us (I’m 6’2”) and the A/C struggled to keep up in the front room. All in all, we’d stay here again
We enjoyed our stay in this clean condo. A view is important to us which is one of the reasons we selected this unit. The view from the lanai is expansive, you can see all the way to Maalaea Harbor and the windmills to the right and towards Wailea to the left. Molokini and Kahoolawe can be seen as well. We could see whales from our lanai and there were quality binoculars to use. The only downside are the buildings below. The condo building is up a private road across from a lovely beach and you can walk to the beach. Towels, beach chairs, umbrella and an ice chest are all in the condo for use the beach. There is a washer and dryer in the unit which is great if you need to wash clothes or towels. The bed was comfortable. One more view to mention is from the walkway to the room, it faces Haleakala and it is beautiful to look at as you walk to the elevators. We loved the cross breeze when the front door was open (locking screen door), and the lanai sliding glass door were open. This condo had everything we needed for the week. Also a shout out to the owner Diane for her great communication with us. Mahalo for a great week in your lovely condo.

The location in Kihei is perfect, walking distance to the beach and lots of great restaurants. The top floor location means that you don’t necessarily have to walk down to the beach to enjoy the sunset. The unit is thoughtfully stocked with all you need and more for eating or relaxing at the beach. The landscaped property is essentially a botanical garden and very quiet. Great place to chill.

The view speaks for itself, which is truly remarkable. Comfortable chaise and sofa allow quiet sitting and chatting or just relaxing and reading. The aircon units in lounge and bedroom make a huge difference. The kitchen is truly well appointed with everything you may need. The location is superior. Walking distance to everything. A really great place to stay.

Owner was very organized and reponsive. A pleasure to deal with. The condo matched the pictures. The view was spectacular and we spent late afternoon on the balcony most days.
The condo was located in Bldg D which is at the back of the property, so it was very quiet. Well equipped kitchen and beach stuff, even flippers!
The property is beautifully maintained and there is a botanical walk.
Maui does not recycle kitchen scraps or plastic containers, but there is a very good recycle spot a few blocks away for bottles, cans, newpapers, etc.
We enjoyed the condo very much and afer a few days, it felt like home.
This is condo deserves every 5 star review! If you are looking at the Kihei area you won’t find a better place to stay. The high end kitchen was amazing with anything you could need. Very nice linens and a super comfy bed which was a dream after long days filled with excursions. We opened up the back door over looking Haleakala which has an amazing view but also creates a delightful breeze running through the condo. Everything was spotless and very nice. Watched whales every morning while drinking coffee and the sunsets were postcard beautiful. The owner emailed me the morning after we checked in making sure everything was okay and even helped me with our itinerary! You won’t be disappointed in this little piece of heaven, it’s absolutely perfect ♥️
Diane's apartment was the perfect stay in Kihei for me and my wife. It was great to be on the top floor and to take in the amazing views. Being there during whale season was particularly special, as we could see whales from the outdoor space every day.
Diane is an excellent host with very clear communication and the space was very clean and well maintained. I hope to be back again soon!
We had a great week at Kihei Akahi. Diane & Richard are very gracious hosts and wonderful people. We had the good fortune of meeting them during our stay. Their unit was just as advertised, very comfortable and clean, with beautiful ocean view. We enjoyed several memorable sunsets from the lanai. Easy walk to Kihei beaches and food/retail. Short drive to Wailea beach, shops, restaurants. We look forward to coming back.
