The property is peaceful, clean and comfortable. We were able to walk to the ocean and watch the sunset, and walk to see the sunrise. Many restaurants, grocery stores within walking distance.
We stayed three weeks at Papakea - we have stayed there many times before. We love all the amenities - the water exercise classes, the mai tai party every week, and especially the lei making class. The grounds are beautiful and include two swimming pools, two hot tubs, and two putting greens. The sunsets are amazing. the unit was equipped with snorkeling gear, sand pails, golf balls and putters, and just about everything anyone would need for their stay. Also it is close to a grocery store, restaurants, and an ABC store. We will definitely be back. It would have been helpful to know in advance about the resort fees which are now $25 per night with no cap.
My dad lives in one of the condos on the Papakea resort and we came to help him celebrate his 90th birthday. This condo we stayed in was wonderful; very clean, well stocked, comfortable bed, and very nicely decorated. We loved the view from the lanai. The grounds are beautiful and we very much enjoyed the quiet atmosphere!
I use to live around the corner a few years ago, and never had a chance to visit the property. I feel so welcomed and safe here, and im so happy to be back at Papakea. The staff are all very kind and welcome you with aloha spirit. I will definitely be staying again!
We booked 3 condos at Papakea. Grandkids had the best time here in Maui & at the condo pool.
This is our second stay at Papakea D207. It's clean and bright, remains toddler safe, and has all the amenities needed for a relaxing vacation! Kitchen/cooking/dining supplies are great, we ate out only once. The property is pretty mellow and we had no trouble with kids bedtime at 8pm or ours at 10pm. Papakea D207 is our home away from home and we won't hesitate to book again. My Perfect Stays is a great property manager as well, always responsive and I appreciated the reminder/info emails before our trip.

Unit was as described and had a lovely view of the grounds and ocean. The location was very convenient and the complex had a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. When we alerted myperfectsrays of a minor plumbing issue we discovered, they were highly responsive; someone was out to fix it that day. Would recommend this unit.
