The reason you're thinking about booking this condo is surely the view from the lanai, and that alone makes this a great choice for where to stay on Maui. I was even lucky enough to spot a couple whales on my first day, just before they all packed up and left town. The condo is a bit dated, as others have noted, but that didn't affect my stay at all. It's wonderfully equipped in both the kitchen and beach supplies (towels, cooler with cooler blocks, chairs, etc). When the lanai door is open you can hear the waves, and there are sometimes sea turtles feeding at the rocks that line the property. It's not really a swimmable shore, but there is a beach just past a few other condos. Nice location, as close to central as you can get on Maui. One downside to note is the AC unit is quite far from the bedroom and is on a 6 hour timer. There were nights I woke up because I was too warm and had to reset the timer to get the AC back on. As expensive as Maui is, the condo was quite affordable, about the same as a very inexpensive hotels, and worlds better.

This is a great property, well maintained, great views, convenient elevator and walkways, ability to walk to restaurants and shops, a little distance from beach but great for walking exercise, also centrally located to reach all parts of the island. The condo was comfortable and had everything needed for our stay. The only issues were the TV, not clear instructions on how to connect and operate, we were without TV for 5 days, after having caretaker look and could not fix, and two calls, Christian from agency came and was very helpful even said we should be compensated. The other comment is possibility of having a coffee and filter starter package until ability to shop. Other than that, our stay was wonderful, the people were friendly and we would highly recommend this property, and Destination Maui Vacations as we have contacted them before and they have been great to work with, also a property we will definitely consider coming back too!
Very nice unit. We've stayed in this building 3 times before. We love the location. Quiet and close to the water.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unit! The location is amazing. Beautiful sunrises each morning from our lanai, lounging by the pool, barbecuing in the evening. The grounds are very well maintained and beautiful. The interior had everything we needed. It was a bit dated but functional. Christine the manager manager was awesome! She was super responsive and did everything she could to make our vacation as great as possible. We can’t wait to come back!

A beautiful location by the ocean. Conveniently located within driving distance of many places. Nice and clean. I would have liked it if the shower had more water pressure.
The property has a beautiful view. We were able to see whales splashing about. Sandy beaches are very close. We were escaping the rain from the rain forest we live in and the sunshine was awesome. The condo was clean and equipped with what we needed for an enjoyable stay.
My family rented a few condos in this complex. The stay was wonderful! Beautiful view, pool for the kids, lots to do within walking distance. The apartment was clean and cozy.

Best vacation ever! It was truly an amazing experience from the condo to the beautiful location and everything in between! A peaceful paradise!
We loved every minute of it! Views were fantastic from our balcony !!! The unit was as described, very clean and kept us very cool on some hot days. We found it to be extremely well stocked. We’ve been in other units that haven’t had a thing in comparison the grounds are lovely and it is just a small walk to the beach front. The communication with the property manager was very good very friendly. I can’t recommend this unit more highly.
Likes: oceanview, walk to harbor & beach, shopping. Lots of kitchen cookware, utensils, dishware.
Dislikes: no TV in bedroom, no air conditioning in bedroom, bathtub drain clogged so did not drain while showering, need to replace toilet seat, it was peeling! bedroom mattress needs to be replaced, lumpy. for the price paid nightly, owner could afford to replace and fix some of these items.
