This condo has what you come to Maui for. Twenty feet from the water. In our opinion we have the best Maui location on Maui(peaceful, central, uncrowded and non 'touristy' Maalaea), the best building in Maalaea - Kanai a Nalu (first one on the 4 mile beach) and about the best unit (401) in Kanai a Nalu (oceanfront corner - fantastic view from every window). Fall asleep to the gentle sound of the surf outside your bedroom window and wake to a beautiful Maui sunrise across the bay over magnificent 10,000 foot Haleakala. Eat breakfast on your lanai while you watch whales and surfers on the bay below you. Unobstructed views ( the best in Maalaea) from every window - even the kitchen looks to the West Maui Mountains. Both bedrooms and the living room have fantastic views but also complete privacy (We never close the curtains). Kitchen is remodeled and fully equipped. Island style furniture throughout including a new Beauty-rest king size bed, very comfortable tropic style living room set , free wireless DSL, side by side fridge with filtered water/ice in door, Air Conditioning in living room, washer -dryer. Both bathrooms recently updated with new fixtures, tile, granite, and real stone vessel sinks. We just tore up the carpet and installed beautiful mango wood floor in living room and master bedroom. We added 50 inch flat screen ROKU UHD smart TVs in the living room and Master Bedroom. Beautiful new upholstery on living room furniture is too new to show up on video but we do have pictures. Living area has a relaxing tropical ambiance with much original artwork.
Maalaea and Kanai a Nalu: Maalaea is a small village that is the best of both worlds. We are far enough away from the traffic and 'shoulder to shoulder' tourist areas that you can truly relax and appreciate what Maui living is really about. Yet we are the most central spot on the island for easy access to all that Maui has to offer. Our Kanai-a-Nalu condo complex is a four-story, U-shaped building with a beautiful courtyard that is open to the ocean. It shelters a wonderful tile swimming pool on the ocean's edge. You may decide to walk down to Maalaea Harbor to take a whale watching, snorkeling, fishing, or sunset dinner cruise. The harbor...

I rented this place for a month, so that I could share the joy with friends. It exceeded expectations! The view from the porch was breath-taking, and the sound of the waves lulled us to sleep every night. (And for occasional naps.). The neighborhood was just right—not too many people and little to no traffic. The property manager went above and beyond! She collected our mail, and sent out a worker (also wonderful) the same day to fix something…It was rectified so efficiently, I cannot even remember the issue! I highly recommend this place!! This property is a great place!!! The location is perfect for seeing all parts of the island. We enjoyed sitting on the Lani watching the turtles and listening to the waves hit the wall below. We were able to walk from the complex directly to miles of beach. I highly recommend getting this place if you are going to Maui. Aloha

Our family loved this place. The location was very convenient placing us basically the middle between Kahului, Kihei and Lahaina. If you want to travel around a car is definitely recommended. The condo itself was furnished with everything you needed, including large beach towels, chairs, umbrella, hard cooler etc. The condo was very clean and I am a neat freak so this was awesome! The views from the condo are spectacular. We watched Hawaiian green sea turtles everyday from the balcony just below. The pool and grill area are very nice! I will say the location is very windy. We read that this is normal for the location because of the mountains. It did make it hard to grill but that is hardly a complaint. The beach is literally right off of the property where you can walk for several miles. I walked it alone as a female for several miles and felt completely safe. The beach itself is beautiful! Overall it was a wonderful place to stay and would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We loved getting to see turtles swimming in the water from the balcony. Beach access was right down from the pool. We enjoyed walking along the beach & seeing a monk seal. The condo was exceptionally clean and fit our group very well. From the moment you walk in, your view is the ocean and the breeze with the doors open is pure bliss. The owners were extremely communicative and exceptional to work with. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy this hidden gem in the future!

After several years of delaying our visit from Nova Scotia, Canada due to COVID we finally got to spend two weeks in paradise. Thank you Mike for being so patient and generous with us! We loved every part of our vacation. The condo is lovely and included everything we needed. It is beautifully decorated and the art work was a delight in itself. We loved the central location and travelled all over the island although it was difficult to leave the beach outside of the condo. We spent hours watching the waves, turtles and surfers. There are nice shops, the Ocean Centre and coffee options within a short walk. The weather for our stay was fabulous. We will definitely be back. Mahalo.

A truly amazing apartment to stay in for our visit. The views from the Lanai are spectacular. Watching turtles just below in the ocean and whales out in the bay. The apartment was clean and spacious for 4 adults. It was well equipped with everything you need from toilet paper to towels and beach towels. Even had beach chairs. Would highly recommend staying here and on our return we would stay here again. Mahalo

We just got home from our amazing Maui vacation and this property exceeded our expectations. Great communication with the owner and property manager, the condo is exactly as pictured; clean, fantastic location and the views are perfection. We would see turtles and whales from our balcony. While its a bit quiet in this area, we prefer that and also enjoyed being central to beaches and shops in every direction. The pool does have a lot of rules and the owners are not friendly towards children. That would not deter me from staying here. Just be prepared to advocate for your children if being well behaved and still getting grief from the older crowd. That being said, I would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you!
