Gorgeous views, great location, and best of all, above-and-beyond customer service. The condo was stocked with all the necessities to make the space feel like home during our stay. The communication from booking to check out was excellent. Next time we're on Kauai, we will certainly stay here again. Mahalo!

If you like the ocean, watching surfers and sea turtles, this is the place that is in a fantastic location. The only noise we heard was the ocean. This is a place to plan your vacation dates around. It is perfect! We spent a lot of time on the private balcony watching the ocean and all that it provided. We even had a rainbow one morning. We were thankful for the AC in the bedroom at night. But otherwise we didn’t use it. But nice to know it is available (dual zone: bedroom/living area). I was so sad to leave.
The place was exactly how described. The views were stunning. We enjoyed taking in the views, watching the surfers, sea turtles, and even had a seal sun bathing on the rocks. The condo is located a short drive to shopping and restaurants. It was nice to have beach chairs to take the short walk to Baby Beach. The condo is well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Highly recommend.
One of, if not THE best condos we’ve stayed in. We’ve stayed here a few times in the past and it doesn’t seem to change much. Clean, pretty much everything you would need during your stay. In our experience the best place we’ve been in during our 11 trips to Hawaii. Highly recommend it.
A perfect condo for soaking up the ocean and sky of the south side of Kauai.
We enjoyed our stay here, watching the whales each day, listening to the waves along the shore and relaxing on the lanai. Location is very nice with easy walk/drives to many restaurants and shops. Quiet complex with easy parking as well. Great communication with owners. Would definitely stay again.
The location was superb! The condo was stocked well-salt, pepper, etc. The condo was a little dated, but not a problem. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo. Dust was very piled up in back of the night stand lamp in the bedroom. And there was a big cockroach in the bathtub. Overall it was beautiful and I loved going to sleep listening to the crashing waves of the ocean.
Can’t beat this view! Biggest issue was not having change for the laundry … bring 1s or a 5 so you can get quarters from the change machine that’s in the shared laundry room.
The view out the windows in the living room, dining room, and kitchen is incredible. The bed and living room furniture was comfortable and fit the tropical theme. No complaints. Would stay again!
Had 8 great nights here and couldn’t be happier! Fantastic location first and most obviously for the view! But, also for walking to great beaches (Poipu [1.75 mi.], baby beach .3 mi. Most notably) and great shops and many fantastic restaurants at The Shops at Kukui’ula only half a mile up the road.
Exactly like the pictures. Very well stocked, including beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, towels, cooler, and boogie boards. Kitchen was also well stocked. Plenty of parking, great location. The sound of the surf and watching surfers was very entertaining. We will be back
This property was perfect for my husband and I! The view was amazing- we watched the turtles and surfers every morning and evening and even saw a pod of dolphins! We will definitely be returning

Kuhio Shores is the best place to stay and this unit is perfect!
The location is hard to beat, overlooking the ocean with a palm tree just left of the Lanai. You're so close that you may need to close the windows to lower the volume for sleep and conversation! Sea turtles graze in the waters between the sea wall and the reef offshore every morning and sometimes into the afternoon. It was not unusual to see four at a time. Nearby Poipu Beach sees five (or more) pull up out of the water to rest at sunset.
The palm trees at Kuhio Shores are the current roost for a massive flock of Ring-necked Parakeets. Just after sunset, they flock to the palm trees in an amazing display. Pro tip: don't park under the palms!
The Condo was comfortable and reasonably well equipped. Furnishings are little worn in places, but nothing to significantly detract from your stay. Rates are more than reasonable for the location and you won't regret staying here.
One thing missing from the current description that you will absolutely enjoy: There are boogey boards (3), snorkel gear (2), beach chairs (4), and travel coolers in the condo closet for guest use. If you need a corrective vision snorkel mask, they are available for rent next door or in nearby Koloa at Boss Frogs for very reasonable rates.
The host warned us the AC was out the day before our travel (not as gotcha, but because he thought it was going to be made before our arrival), and the full replacement was completed in a few days. Enjoy the new, very effective AC!
This was my second time staying at Kuhio Shores and I will be back! Love the proximity to the ocean, you really can’t get much closer. The unit was very comfortable for me and my spouse for a one week stay and stocked with everything we needed, including beach chairs/umbrella. A highlight of each day for us was happy hour on the lanai to watch sunset. The owners Mike and Sue were a pleasure to work with. Bonus: the condo is walking distance to Baby Beach and The Shops at Kukui‘ula.

Our stay was perfect, absolutely everything we hoped for. Location was quiet, beautiful, and we had so much activity to watch every day from the lanai; surfers galore, turtles and even seals. Sunsets were phenomenal. The condo had everything We could possibly want. It was heavenly.
Stayed here in late March 2024 (10 days). Had always stayed at the G Hyatt Kauai in years past but they have priced me out of business. After staying at Kuhio Shores 415 wish we had never stayed anywhere else. The ocean view here is unbeatable! The condo has EVERYTHING you need to make your stay perfect. We loved the ocean breeze coming into the place. The unit has 2 AC units but we never needed them. The complex is well maintained, quiet and in a great location to everything on Poipu. Pat (the owner) was great to work with through the entire process. Highly re ommend Kuhio Shores 415 to everyone!!
A very charming and cozy condo with an amazing breathtaking view overlooking the ocean! Loved falling asleep and waking up to the lulling sound of crashing waves every day!
Would recommend renting a car if you stay here, however, as it is a bit of a walk to any shopping, grocery stores, or restaurants.
