We loved our stay here. Very well stocked and comfortable. We had two adults and two older teens and all felt like more than enough space. Beautiful sunsets viewed from the lanai. We really enjoyed being able to walk down to the beach and float and snorkel then rinse off and jump in the pool.
New property manager upon check, had to log into VRBO to see the communication. Did go seamless after that. Garbage disposal was leaking, really couldn't use the sink or dishwasher last 3-4 days. They did have someone come out, a bit to late. Rail going upstairs was into drywall and ripped out the rest of the way. Great location
We took our family of 6 and absolutely loved our stay for the week. There was plenty of space for our kids to hang out, great sleep accommodations, and an excellent location. We loved the pool and though the beach was quaint, our kids preferred to play there over hauling out to another beach most days. We even saw a few turtles swimming around near sunset. The condo had everything you needed for food prep though it might be nice to bring some spices and condiment packets for cooking. There’s also a Brita for water and bonus a fresh cold water dispenser for ease of filling up water bottles at the pool. We appreciated all of the baby gear for our 1 year old and tons of games, books and beach essentials. The only con and it’s not really one is that the A/C is on a timer and it clicks in your ear while sleeping but easily remedied with ear plugs just expect you may have to redial if you sleep more than 6 hours. Again we had a wakeful baby so it wasn’t terribly inconvenient. Overall, we’re so happy we stayed here over any resort or other location. It felt more like home. The grounds were beautiful, clean, and the residents seemed friendly. It was a good mix of older couples and young families so we felt cozy. Highly recommend staying at Kahana Sunset!
Great location! Pool was great. Smaller beach at condo than expected but several beaches close by to go to. A coat of paint inside would do wonders. Well equipped, had all we needed. Maintenance in/on parking lot the day we checked out was VERY annoying and frustrating but didn’t know about it until the week before our trip and were already booked. Internet did not work at all during our stay. At all! That was a huge annoyance. TV in upper bedrooms worked but not the one in living room, due to internet. Would stay at Kahana Sunset again, but maybe a different unit.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was hard to find the address of the property and when I used the location, the GPS took me to the wrong place. It is waterfront and there is a small beach area but you can’t really lay on the beach here.
Loved the location and condo. Every morning we could see whales from our deck. Centrally located to almost all we did. Would visit again.
Just finished spending two weeks at this beautiful boutique resort. The kids absolutely loved splashing around in the pool, the grounds were very well kept by Junior and Lance. (groundskeepers) they even had some fruit grown on the property (coconuts, and papaya) that they sampled to the kids, which tasted amazing! We will definitely be staying at this resort property again
Overall great. However 1. Both balconies were dirty with grim on tables and chairs. Carpet on balconies dirty and sandy. 2. Need more basic condiments 3. Very thins walls … can hear every movement.
Thank you for making our stay at Maui an amazing experience. What we got for the price was better than other comparative sites. We got a two bedroom, two and a half bath, full kitchen, living room, and two balconies with great views. Parking was ample and private. The room was tastefully decorated and adequately furnished. Thank you.
The property was clean and a pleasure to return to after busy days with sand and sun. All amenities were as described, functional and clean. We enjoy a colder inside atmosphere and all AC units worked fine!

The condo unit was as pictured,actually probably one of the first condos I've rented that was almost better than pictured. Fresh paint and carpets and rugs were nice as it was a concern from previous reviews. When we walked in the first day there was a stong smell of bug spray. Definitely still a termite issue in the kitchen that prevented us from using some of the drawers during our stay. We did not want to have it sprayed again during our stay though. It was very strong. Understandably need to keep food in sealed containers to deter the pest problem but the kitchen was very low on bowls, pans etc. Would be nice to have more large tuperware available. We made due by keeping dry goods in the fridge, microwave and oven when not in use. That was our main issue though. The property is lovely with the heated pool, grassy area and small beach where we snorkled with turtles and fish. Was nice to be able to park directly outside the condo unit as opposed to having to haul everything to a parking lot. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again hopefully the termites can get under control as it is a nice new kitchen!
Awsome location, enjoyed ocean view and sunset. Everything’s clean but some brownish power kept falling from somewhere in the kitchen cabinet to cooktop.

The unit was very clean and great views out to the sea. saw whales daily and kids swam with the resident turtles. Also close to the Napili market where we walked to for groceries and daily coffees. Will return again cheers
Condo was clean and well represented by pics. Property is beautiful and well kept, loved it also had beach chairs and snorkeling gear. My family enjoyed the beach, snorkeling in cove, bbq, and swimming pool time! Great place to come back to after daily adventures and away from crowds of big resorts. Looking forward already to coming back!

Pros first - the neighborhood is nice and the beach/pool area is lovely. Lots of lounge chairs out so you can enjoy the sunsets etc. The kitchen in the unit looks like it was nicely updated not too long ago and had everything you would need for cooking/eating in. They provided beach towels, a couple of beach chairs and some snorkel gear! Air conditioning units in each area worked well. The communication about booking and entry info was great.
A couple of cons - carpets need to be cleaned or replaced as they were pretty dirty and made the condo smell very musty. I think there might be a termite issue in the kitchen (obviously not owners fault but should be addressed before renting again) - cleaned up debris on the counter and it reappeared several times a day.

Great condo, clean and comfortable. Everything worked, the beds were comfortable. The 1/2 bathroom downstairs was great. The beach, although small was great. We would definitely stay here again.
