Very accommodating and convenient.
Condo has pretty much everything you need. Was clean, beds are really comfortable and pool was nice. About a 10 minute walk to beach. Definitely go to Costco after you land-Safeway is super-expensive.
We enjoyed the condo and it has ample amenities. Would stay again when visiting Maui!
We had a really lovely stay here. There was plenty of room for our family of three to stretch out and the first floor location was just steps from the pool, which was awesome for an after dinner swim or hot tub. We also used the gas grill in the pool area one night. The entire complex was really well maintained and there were several friendly kitties on the property too, most of which were happy for some head rubs.
We enjoyed the relative quiet of the complex compared to the hustle and bustle of the big resorts. There was never more than a few families at the pool. And the big resorts, restaurants, and Whaler Village are a short walk away. We also played foot golf at the adjacent course, which is basically a mash-up of soccer and golf and fun way for us non-golfers to be on the course.
The hosts graciously made sure we had boogie boards for our stay, as this is an activity our family really enjoys. And the beach closet had pretty much everything you'd need for a day at the beach -- plenty of towels, chairs, umbrella, snorkeling stuff, boogie boards -- plus stuff for kids. The only thing we didn't find was a cooler, but maybe there was one and we just didn't see it. We also wanted to try pickle ball, but ran out of time.
We would definitely stay at this property again! Check in/out was easy, it was super comfy, and with great communication along the way.
Fantastic location, only a short walk to Whalers Village and Ka’anapali beach. Our first floor unit was perfect for us as we had guests joining us throughout out 7 week stay. The condo was generously supplied with everything we needed. Extra towels for the pool, plenty of dishware and several spices. Kelly was very responsive to any request or questions we had. We definitely plan on returning and recommend this unit.
Grounds were very well kept. Super easy check in and great people to deal with. The condo itself had absolutely everything you could need, for cooking, storing, relaxing, visiting and heading out to the beach. Location on ground level and close to the pool was perfect for just hopping down to the hot tub for a relaxing soak after a long day of hiking, or going back and forth if you forgot something in the condo. The owners were super helpful anytime we had any questions and we felt they genuinely wanted to make our stay the best it could be! They had great ideas about where to go to hike and for meals if you didn’t want to stay in. Overall just an amazing experience and we will definitely stay at this resort, and hopefully this exact condo again!

The condo was great, excellent location if not directly on the beach. Place had everything we needed and we appreciate the flexibility with checking out later.
Only suggestion would be upgraded mattresses. Wonderful vacation!

Nice unit, nice location. Owner was very accommodating and worked very hard to resolve a minor issue we had regarding beach chairs and umbrella. A little bit of a walk to the beach, with not being allowed to cross the golf course, but we were aware of this from reviews we saw after booking. Was not an issue.

My family of 5 + grandma enjoyed our stay in paradise! The condo was a great size, larger than most other 2 bedroom options we could find. Nicely updated, we especially enjoyed the beautiful tiled showers. The large sliding doors lead out to a gorgeous outdoor dining table, which we used any time we ate dinner in. Pool is just steps away which was super convenient. I do agree with previous reviews about living room furniture needing replacing, it’s pretty well used. I would stay here again if returning to Maui. It was great for our family!

The condo is absolutely wonderful. It is so close to the beach and we loved being right by the pool as well. It is also a very short drive to the grocery store which is handy. We loved all of the extra goodies that were available like boogie boards and beach supplies! Kelly was very easy to communicate with and great with accommodating our requests. Thank you! Our family stayed at this home and we loved it! I had my 2 year old son and he loved having the pool and front lawn to play in! And we enjoyed having the pickle ball court to play in! We felt like we were immersed in the Hawaiian culture by staying in a condo vs a hotel/resort! Everything we needed... Communication with Kelly went well. Kaanapali Royal is a little tired property but still very nice. It was nice to be ground floor. Plenty of supplies and beach items to use. Pool area was nice but the water was very cold. Hot tub was out of order for our stay. Beds were comfy and water pressure was great. Short walk or drive to the Kaanapali area. Only negative was the 2nd bedroom closet was filled with lots of clutter with a dresser put in the closet with sliding doors. Not a lot of room and had to continually do a dance with my wife when we were getting ready. Also had to pay a $150 parking fee which was not advertised in the listing.
