Welcome to Kauhale Makai (Village By the Sea) and your home away from home! We are very proud of our 5th floor unit with ocean, sunset and mountain views. This unit sleeps and accommodates 2 occupants only! Completely renovated and it's waiting for you! As well as a free welcome basket! See the before and after pics! New everything: cherry bamboo floors, kitchen, bathroom with walk-in shower, appliances, new furniture, décor, granite, travertine, recessed lighting throughout and more!

This ocean view unit is superior to all others and is one of only a few that has a wide open kitchen and no silly walls blocking your view! It has a very spacious floor plan and plenty of room! Our unit is very clean and cozy and is decorated in island style. We have the best maids that keep it very clean. This unit is painted with neutral colors and is a very homey and comfortable unit. It is fully furnished and has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook! It has very large sliding glass windows opening up to the lanai from both the living room and bedroom. There are ocean views from each room!

The ocean and beach are only steps away. Watch amazing sunsets, directly from our lanai or take a walk down to our beach. Our beach is great for running, walking, strolling, kayaking, paddle boarding, watching sunsets and sunrises and whatever else you may have in mind. This is a beautifully maintained property and a very quiet resort complex, which will allow for a great vacation and peace of mind. Relax in the hot tub or enjoy a meal or a cocktail from the lanai.

You will have fabulous accommodations with CENTRAL air conditioning, ceiling fans, televisions, DVD player, beach gear, WiFi, cable television, music and a fully-equipped kitchen. This is in addition to a free WELCOME BASKET which includes a bag of coffee and other Hawaiian snacks! This is one of the only complexes that offer central air conditioning.

This 5th floor, 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit not only has ocean, sunset and mountain views, it overlooks the fabulous pool area. Just down the elevator, we are steps to the pool, hot tub and barbeque areas. Book with us and have an unforgettable vacation!! We have been doing this since 2008 and we know how to do it right!

This was an amazing property with every amenity needed. It really is all about location, and this was perfect. Centrally located in Kihei, but not directly in town so it was quiet and peaceful for morning breakfast on the lanai, and evening sunsets on a beach on the property that was basically deserted. No busy streets to cross, only a beautifully maintained grassy area. The highlight of the property is the 5th-floor "welcome committee" named Barry. He was so helpful! Wonderful to talk to and so many helpful suggestions. He is a retired resident who likes to keep the 5th floor spotless. He was always out there with a broom! This truly was the best property we've ever stayed in while on Maui, and I've visited about 10 times.

My partner and I really enjoyed staying here. It had all the amenities you would need for any length of stay and the property was very clean and well presented. The balcony has a lovely view which you can access from both the bedroom and living room which was nice. It was only a very short walk to a quiet beach, and the surrounding gardens/pool created a very relaxing atmosphere. The owners were very easy to communicate with, and gave us some great help and advice leading up to our stay. There was a lovely welcome basket with coffee, chocolates and biscuits which I thought was a lovely touch. I would definitely stay again and recommend the accommodation to others.

We loved the property. It is very well looked after. The kitchen has everything you could want for cooking a meal. The view was beautiful from the large balcony. The pool was so great to spend time at as while we were there the winds were very strong so some days it we weren’t able to enjoy the beach. As well there was everything we needed to enjoy the beach or the pool with chairs, beach towels, snorkel gear. We left behind a couple of foam floaties we bought and hope others can enjoy them. The bed is well used, or so it felt. The mattress seemed quite worn so we had a hard time sleeping, but no bed ever feels the same as your bed at home, so it could have been just that. The only con was that there is what appears to be a window shade as the head board/wall hanging and it was very, very dusting. I was worried about dust falling on us during the night. That was the only thing that we weren’t thrilled about, but it didn’t affect our holiday. I would also like to mention that the owner is very caring. We were there during the Maui fires and she called us to make sure we were safe. She wasn’t worried about her condo, but was worried about us. I would highly recommend staying here once Maui is welcoming tourists again. We really did leave our hearts in Maui. Maui Strong.

Very impressed with this condo! Great spot for a getaway and enjoy the island! Had no issues with anything in the unit and super easy and convenient check-in process! Food around this location was very good. Also has a variety of grocery stores nearby if you prefer to cook meals yourself! A lot of extras provided such as beach towels, snorkeling gear, laundry essentials, etc! Response from owner was very prompt as well! Would recommend staying here!
