The property was immaculate. The amenities were excellent. The owner was accessible and attentive. And the location minutes from town, grocery stores, etc was great. The views were stunning. Couldn’t have been more pleased. We had a great time.

The house could not have been more perfect for our family’s vacation on the Big Island. Everything from the view, the pool, the kitchens (both indoor and out), the layout for a vacationing family, the location, and all the thoughtful amenities were absolutely perfect. We had a week full of adventures and loved nothing more than starting our days with coffee on the lanai looking out at the view and returning to this beautiful home each evening for sunset and dinners outside. Loved every minute of it! Thank you to our amazing hosts!!
Such a great home for a multi-generational trip. There were enough bedrooms for everyone to rest comfortably. The home was so well stocked, from the kitchen having basic condiments/seasonings you may need, to the pool having all the toys and life jackets. Great, quiet neighborhood (the small coffee farm down the road was a great place to check out). The pool does not get very warm (we were prepared since it was mentioned in the listing) But something to keep in mind. Unfortunately it was a little too cold for our liking so we didn’t use it much. But overall a great home with amazing features. Great for a large family!
This home was absolutely perfect. There was plenty of space for my family. The home was very well stocked with everything you need including the kitchen, bathrooms and a day at the beach. The views from the outside and every room was perfect. The host's responses were immediate. We will definitely stay at this home again. I would give this home 10 stars if I could.

Cold showers every day. No A/C. Only network channels on bedroom televisions. Old opened food in the fridge. Trash was not removed from the kitchen, we had to clean it all out. Pool is not heated. Not much privacy in master suites due to having to leave the screen doors open to control the room temps.

No clutter but clean modern décor. Very close to shops and cafes. Only downside the best beaches are a 45 minute drive away
What a stunning home with breathtaking views! There were 11 in our party ranging from 15-65. This house accommodated all of us with ease. We had everything we needed for our island trip. It is close to the beaches, shops, farmers markets, and the airport. The only downfall to this home was not having an air conditioner, however, having the pool and outside showers aided in cooling off. The master suites that open to the pool area were amazing, I loved waking up to the view of the ocean every morning! The rain gutter drains were unique and I truly enjoyed watching them when it rained! Justin was available via phone, text, or email and always responded promptly! I cannot say enough about our experience in Hawaii, the memories made, and it started with this home! Thank you Justin for sharing your piece of paradise!
Truly fantastic home! Fantastic open concept great room with modern kitchen and living area. Wide-open indoor / outdoor living with huge sliding doors out to patio. Outdoor kitchen and infinity pool. Two awesome master suites with huge bathrooms! Lots of provided goodies to enjoy the beach like chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys. And a truly amazing view of Kona. My family was very impressed with this property. Certainly one of the best we have stayed at on VRBO. And Justin the owner was extremely responsive and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this home for a vacation stay.
Palekaiko is a gorgeous property. Justin and Jill have poured themselves into making this a first class property. Great for families with lots of space. Views as far as you can see. But what stands out is the peace and tranquility that you have while staying at this lovely home. This is why we take vacations! While is would have been nice to walk out to the beach, the views, the private pool, the afternoon Hawaiian showers all made for a wonderful week! Thank you Justin!
A perfect home to enjoy all that the Big island has to offer. Easy access to any side of the island and a gorgeous home and surrounding if you would rather never leave. Sun in the mornings and sunsets in the evening...glorious.
Had the opportunity to spend a week at this amazing rental home, traveling as a group of 3 couples. We have stayed at countless rental houses over the years and this is one of the best. Communication with the owner is timely and concise. The house was impeccably designed and decorated, well stocked and leaving nothing to be desired. The views from the large covered patio and infinity edge pool are breathtaking. All 3 couples felt like they were each able to have their own luxuriously private suites, all with ocean views. If you are looking for an spectacular rental home to enjoy with a group of friends/family, that is also centrally located, look no further, you will not be disappointed.
Every detail was thought carefully through; from the initial contact with the owner, the correspondence up until we arrived until we checked out, and then the setup of the home. It's hard to go wrong with a beautiful home with the perfect view.
Before we arrived the owner was in direct communication letting us know of every detail we would need upon check-in. The instructions were impeccable and very easy to follow. When we arrived, everything was perfectly planned for guests from a kitchen fully-stocked with cooking utensils and plenty of indoor and outdoor supplies. There were multiple beach and pool towels with toys for each. Again, every detail was thought through carefully, as if the owners were to rent; what would they need and want to make their family vacation easy. Check out instructions were just as easy and the owner even emailed to remind us of trash day pick up.
The home was perfect for our family, which consisted of six adults and two kiddos. The neighborhood was quiet and it was wonderful to be close to everything, yet far enough away to be by ourselves.
We have learned that having a great place to land while you are away from home makes 75% of your vacation enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable vacation!
the home was beautiful. we wanted for nothing. the views from the entire house were wonderful, especially the 3 rear master suites. million dollar. and I loved the location, could look down on the city and water. we enjoyed watching a cruise ship taking passengers to the city. loved the design of each of the 4 master suites. had a separate hall to each suite. totally private area. the kitchen was completely stocked with high end cooking and eating utensils.had to check the dishwasher to make sure that it was working....totally silent. ate some of the yellow bananas that were on a tree in the front yard. 3 large stalks! yard and home were very well maintained. the cool breeze in the home was wonderful during the day and very welcome at night. I unsually am hot at night, with airconditioning, but not at all during our stay. would love to return
We are a family of 5 and took two friends. We loved our stay here! We were so impressed with the quick response from Justin and his willingness to help when needed. The house is just gorgeous and has everything you could ever need! The pool was on the cool side because of solar heat, but it was refreshing on the hot days.
There is everything you need for pool fun and beach fun! We highly recommend staying here!
