As advertised clean but nothing fancy. Loved that coffee shops and dining were steps away. We really enjoyed renting bikes for a few hours to ride on the path that follows the coast. The view from the unit was perfection. Enjoyed the lounge chairs under the trees. No issues finding one available. Only went to the pool once to get a happy hour cocktails, Some things could be updated (shower fixtures and blow dryer) but really a great find at a reasonable price point. Would come again.

While this particular unit is slightly dated, the location and amenities make up for that. The building is on the far side, a stones throw to Lava Lava Beach Club. There is a stairwell right at the beach so it is super easy to go back and forth. There are lounge chairs set up under the trees on the sand so you really don’t even need beach chairs. The kitchenette is perfect since there are multiple gas BBQ units at the pool. The ocean view from the balcony is wonderful. The pool and jacuzzi area is lovely with a tiki bar that opens for happy hour. While the rocks and coral at most of the beach makes it hard to enter and exit, the open spot of just sand is right in front of the building. If you walk down the path to the right where the pathway ends, you will find a small ‘pool’ made out of lava rocks for young swimmers. There is a nice market right behind the complex. This is a super nice affordable place to stay on a very expensive island. We will stay here again! Oh- great AC too!

This was a wonderful area. I felt like we were in the heart of Hawaii. If we ever come back, this will be where we stay.
