Beautiful location.
Condo unit great space and views.

Windows, screens, shutters need updating.

Let me first start out by saying the location was outstanding. The proximity to the private beach could not have been better.
Randy was easy to work with and responsive to questions and concerns we had.
Unfortunately the pictures on the listing do not accurately represent the current furnishings in the condo. We had five adults and two children (8 &11). The dining table was not very large and only had space for four chairs. There were no bar stools at the counter. Based on the pictures we assumed the table sat six people and there were two barstools available for seating. I did call Randy and asked about the stools and he did have one delivered the next day. Any meals we did have meant we had four people at the table, one person at the counter and two people balancing plates on their lap while sitting on the
sofa.
I did read on previous reviews that the unit needed a deep cleaning. Quite honestly the carpeting was stained and filthy. There were food smears on the walls and paint was chipping. The master bath sink drain was clogged. The tile floors could not have been washed in quite some time. The unit has fabulous bones, but it truly needs some TLC. When I read the earlier reviews I was expecting some surprises but I didn’t think it would be this bad.
Again, location is everything and this unit fits that description!

Our family has only ever stayed at Hale Mahina Beach Resort and we love it. You can’t beat the views and this unit definitely has amazing views because of its large layout and being a corner unit.
Randy, the Owner, was amazing to work with and communication was top notch.
Having stayed at several units for over three decades now, the only two things we noticed were lack of towels; there were seven of us and we only had six large wash towels and the unit looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t horrible, but floors, bedrooms and bathrooms could definitely use deep cleaning. The floors looked like they hadn’t been swept and bathrooms could’ve used more cleaning. Again, our review is based on stays at previous units plus we had family staying at another unit, so we know the difference.
However, don’t let this discourage your stay at this Unit. We’re just basing our review on other units and also feel it’s important for the owner to know what we experienced. If you have a large family and want to stay together this Unit is perfect!
