This house checked all the boxes for our family. We have 2 grandkids under 2. We all enjoyed all the paths, short walk to beach and shops. The pool the way it’s configured was perfect for the littles.. the outdoor bbq area was so nice for our evening dinners. Corespondents with host amazing ! We plan on annual vacations.
We rented the property to celebrate a big milestone birthday in our family and could not be more pleased with our time there. The Kukui'ula home was pristine and expertly maintained. In addition, the property managers were extremely attentive and provided quick, top echelon service any time we had a question or request. I highly recommend this property if you're looking for an island getaway with a touch of luxury.
This home lived up to the description and pictures! The communication with the management team prior to our stay was great! They allowed us to ship some larger items in advance (pack-n-play) and they had those waiting for us inside the house when we arrived. We loved the ability to make the house an open air with the wall length sliding doors. Very spacious bedrooms and baths. We loved the outdoor living space and used that a lot! The home is also walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and shops as well as the ocean by using the walking paths in the neighborhood. We were also quite surprised and really thankful that there were beach chairs, cooler, and water toys in the garage for use. These came in very handy!
The only slight headache I could see for some with this house is how to control all the lighting and technology. There are a Ton of light features and it may take a day or two to figure out how to turn them on/off. We arrived at night and the outdoor lighting to enter the house was obsolete so we had to use phone flashlights to find our way in. You may also come to a surprise that the pool is completely enclosed by a mesh fence (pictures don’t show) assuming for safety, but if you take the time you can roll in back. There is also a house next door under construction and it can be noisy at times if you are just looking for a relaxing day by the pool.
The home was beautifully furnished and the layout was perfect for our family. The outdoor entertaining area with a pool, hot tub, grill area and many seating options was a highlight. Service was excellent as well. Can't wait to come back!

The house was beautiful and worked well for our group of 9. Everyone had space inside and lov d the amazing pool and bbq area. Highly recommend this.
Amazing home with excellent amenities. No need to leave this property. Between the pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, and lanai's, we were more than happy to lounge and enjoy the luxurious comforts of this home. Grandparents and kids (ages 5 & 8) alike were in love with this property. We will definitely be returning.
We are 10 in our family ranging from 11 to 80 years old. We loved the well supplied kitchen with a fabulous Wolf range. The pool and hot tub - fabulous! The BBQ area was great! It was a marvelous family experience for my 80th birthday!!
This property is amazing! It is even more beautiful than the photos. Perfect location to take day trips all over the island. Close to Poipu Beach! Lots of construction going on in this neighborhood. M-F lots of workers but Sat and Sun very quiet. Great view of the golf course. Our group of 8 was more than pleased with this magnificent property. Beach chairs and beach towels made it so easy to head to the beach to swim or watch the sea turtles and monk seals resting on Poipu Beach. We would definitely stay here again!
This is truly an extraordinary home. As the pictures show, it looks like something out of Hawaii Beautiful. The layout is perfect for a large family group spanning generations who want to cook most meals at home and enjoy pool time and hanging out at the backyard Pai Pai. 3 lovely suites with king beds & a bunk room the grandkids absolutely loved. The bed & bath linens along with pool towels were very high end. The property management company personnel were very responsive to any concerns we had. The only cautions I have concern the location itself. The home sits less than 50 feet from a golf cart path, and the golf course maintenance machines start running very early in the morning ... once at 4:15 am. So if you are in the master suite on that side, I recommend ear plugs. Also, there are homes being built both across the street & next to this house, so there is a lot of construction noise during the day, and the construction crew vehicles clog the street making it difficult to get in and out of the driveway. I think the VRBO description states that the home is a short walk to the ocean, but you can't use the golf cart path, so that was a bit misleading. But, the home is beautifully situated close to Poipu Beach and lots of restaurants and shopping. There's so much to do on beautiful Kauai ... my family loved it. I had used a baby equipment rental agency, but found when we arrived that there was a pack 'n play, jogger, and booster seat. There were also a ton of pool toys in the chest next to the pool, and beach chairs, boogie boards, and a scooter in the garage. So really, just bring your swim suit & flip flops. For groceries, we stopped at the Costco in Lihue, and then filled in at the Big Save in Koloa. We will miss the fresh fruits available here.
