I enjoyed this place and would definitely stay again! I gave a 4 star rating due to having to pump water from the ac pan and the shower dripped a little(not a complaint at all, just mentioning it for the next tenant). This is something that you don’t find out until you get your check in instructions. The place had everything that we needed and was close to restaurants, grocery store and great shopping. Bedding was super comfy, nice appliances, hot water, smart tv(need one in the bedroom- personal opinion). This is our 2nd stay at Ilekai and it’s definitely not our last.
Shower head leaked. Kitchen sink faucet was hard to turn. Glass slider door hard to open. Outside furniture had bird droppings on it. Couldn't figure out streaming on TV. Otherwise satisfactory.
Was not 2 sofa beds as listed. Was an air mattress and a futon. Sheets were dirty. Front doors locks didn't all work. Door looks like it's falling apart. Walls were dirty. Shower leaked the entire stay. Bathroom smelled like sewage. Host was rude did not acknowledge the fact that she messed up on her listed an stated beds that were non existent.
This condo is located within walking distance to everything you would want…the hotel has a restaurant, ice cream parlor and other cute amenities…these units are old, but it is decorated funky and elegant…there could be some updates to the bathroom shower, which leaked. Excellent communication with owner…would not hesitate to stay here again!
Had a great stay in Waikiki. The apartment was clean, fully appointed, and our host was very easy to communicate with. She ensured that we had everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed our time together where we had easy access to the beach and bus route.If I had a negative comment, it would be that the previous people did not clean the dish ware or silverware very thoroughly. The kitchen was well equipped so that was a big bonus.
Outstanding view at night. The location is close to the beach. There are a lot of onsite shops and places to get food. I would not hesitate to return here again. We loved it.

Nice quiet place to sray that is close to most things. Very good if you have a car as there is area with free parking from 5 am to 10pm and then metered parking at 1 per hour.
It was okay. Very noisy area so no sleep until about 3am. Could hear everything…drunk people hooting and hollering, loud motorcycles, revving engines, etc. Definitely a dated property; sliding doors to bedroom and bathroom were janky, lock to outdoor patio rusty, etc. Futon was hard as a rock even with wgg crate topper. Had to use blow up mattress for one person. We were not given any toilet paper so immediately had to go to store. It was okay, not terrible but definitely not the Hilton.
Janna was great! The condo was exactly as advertized, very clean, well appointed and in a great location.
We were here for three nights and found it as advertised. Very good location, close to the beach, and accommodations, though tight for 3 adults, were comfortable. Check in was smooth as was check out. It is beach equipped and that is a plus. AC worked well, just needed to empty the tray in the morning. Overall very good. There was a fire on the 11th floor and we had to evacuate, 18 floors is a lot, but the fire department was quickly on site and the hotel staff readily available so no issues. I would stay here again.

The until was clean, welcoming and had everything we needed for our 10 day stay! The bed was super comfy and the lanai was the perfect spot to sit and relax.

This property is all about location (bet you didn't guess that from the title). It's located next to Kahanamoku Beach and is walking distance to many stores, restaurants, Ala Wai Harbor and the convention center. We didn't rent a car for our 9 days there and never regretted it. We did take a taxi one day over an Uber and did regret that. Don't make that mistake. The Beach is protected and does have some rocks but there were also sea turtles swimming around so that was really cool. Boat charters are walking distance away (recommend The Adventure Boat). We actually found the only "cheap" restaurant in Waikiki (Pizza Pie). One pizza and bread for less than $30 that fed 3 people.
As for the condo, it's very clean and nicely setup. There is privacy between the bedroom and living room. The lānai is great with views of the city and mountains. What's really great is you get afternoon shade so it's usable. All lunches and one dinner spent here. Owner has a ton of beach stuff available (towels, snorkeling equipment, chairs, umbrella) and all were used. We even added to the collection. The living room has a futon (not a trundle) that our 26-year old son used. No issues. Kitchen has equipment and everything worked well. Space can be small for more than 3 people but we had no issues. Communication with Janna was easy.
Cons - Window A/C does leak at times and needs to be monitored. Sliding doors can be difficult to move. Elevators can be warm.
Pros - Everything Else! We will be back!
We had a great stay. It is very well located, we had everything we need for a confortable stay (towels, beach chairs, dishes and pots). Never slept in sheets that soft! The rail broke in the shower. Janna got it fixed within an hour!
It is a bit noisy from the street bellow, noisy bikers, emergency cars, but the view from the lanai at night is beautiful.

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks for our wedding and honeymoon and it was amazing. The check-in and check-out process was super easy and the property was exactly as described, if not better. The host left us not one but two notes welcoming us to the room; as well as, some candies and a Kukui Nut lei. The view was so so beautiful and it was honestly in the perfect location for us. The hotel itself is right next door to where they shoot off the fireworks and the free hula show in the courtyard was great. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again.

I had a couple of issues, but overall it was okay. I know there have been complaints before about the AC pan having to be emptied so I expected that, but I have to say there needs to be some sort of solution to this. It was an issue that even during the night (with the AC on) we had to get up in the middle of the night and go out on the balcony and use the shop vac that was set up conveniently next to the AC and suck the water out of the pan to avoid it overflowing. Then in the morning, I'd go get the full shop vac that I filled in the middle of the night and take it in the shower and dump it. This seemed ridiculous to have to do each night. I find it hard to believe there's no alternative--either an AC unit that does not condensate or if that's not an option, then a plumber needs to come in and create a sealed pan that has a small hose which runs back into the condo and into the drain plumbing in the kitchen or something. Also, the shower dripped. If we turned it VERY hard it would mostly stop eventually, but again it was an inconvenience. Finally, the AC unit was so loud when you're sitting on the balcony that you couldn't hear. It was an issue when talking to each other and it really took away from the experience of enjoying the view and city. Otherwise, it was well stocked and comfortable overall and the building was nice and in a great location. Thanks!

Janna has gone above and beyond with amenities at the property, it has everything you need and more. Close walking distance to Ala Moana centre. Host was very fast at responding and extremely helpful. Overall amazing stay, we had a great experience.

The property is adequate for two with sliding glass doors in the bedroom and living room, and walkable to most places in Waikiki.
Great apartment with sunny morning view and shade in the afternoon. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of beach gear. Clean with a comfortable bed for two - didn’t try the sleeper couch. Nice property - well kept common areas and lots of visible security.
I stayed twice at this property in the last month. Cute decor. Great location. Challenges with the TV but host followed up immediately.
I would not recommend that more than two people stay at this property. It was very dated and very noisy. Although people that are used to city living may not mind, it was very difficult to sleep here. If you plan on using the futon in the living room, bring your own pillows and blanket because there is only one flat pillow and a blanket with a huge hole in it.
The property was cleaned and well kept. Communication with host was great. In the property explanation it advertised two queen beds. There was only one. Everything else was great
