Our family thoroughly enjoyed our eight night stay at Jodi’s place in Wailea. The condo was clean, comfortable, very spacious for the three of us, well-stocked, private, and convenient. It made for a fantastic “home” whether we decided to relax on Ke’awakapu Beach or go explore all that Maui has to offer.
Wailea Ekahi is a beautiful property located on a fantastic stretch at the south end of Ke’awakapu. A short, easy downhill walk from the condo leads to the beach. The grounds are lush, tropical, and very well-maintained; we took many photos of the flowers and even picked a lime. The main pool complex by the ocean makes for a relaxing place to sit or eat, take a nap, watch the ocean, or play shuffleboard. The showers (plus an outdoor shower!) are great for rinsing off the sand.
I have now been to 40+ beaches across the four main islands of Hawaii, and Ke’awakapu easily makes my top five. The golden sand is perfect for building a castle yet washes off clean. The exceptionally clear and incredibly calm ocean makes for fantastic snorkeling by the rocks. Younger kids could spend all day exploring the tidepools. The water is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, floating, or paddleboarding; we easily paddled a couple miles up and down enjoying the views in each direction.
It was a very tough place to leave… but we will be back as soon as we can! Mahalo nui loa!
We loved our stay. We come with many other of our family in other locations in Ehahi Village. Everyone at VRBO was supportive when we needed help. I failed to print out the instructions to get the door code but we finally got it figured out. All else went perfectly well. We came back totally rejuvinated.
So much to do. Ate all our meals on the beautiful lanai. Loved listening to the birds and all the lush tropical flowers and shrubs. Will definitely return soon.
Great place on all factors
We loved our stay at 19C! We’ve stayed at the Ekahi before and it’s always an amazing place but we truly loved the location of this unit the most! Listening to the waves while our toddler ran around the green space just off the lanai was a highlight of our trip! It’s truly an amazing unit for little ones as you can enjoy the peek-a-boo ocean view (which is so lovely) while the kids run and play on the grass. The unit itself is extremely clean and well stocked. The appliances are all new and the linens and towels were really good quality which was really appreciated! Jodi is a wonderful host. Extremely responsive and very willing to help you have a perfect stay. She also went out of her way to help us make a very long travel day home with a little one so much easier. We can’t wait to stay here again! Truly a special place and can’t recommend enough!
Well I wish we coulda stayed longer. It’s a beautiful property and it’s nice to have spacious living room washer/dryer nice kitchen and dining area. Eating it a A plus.
