A small kitchenette yet with everything you might need for comfortable cooking is located on the right when you enter the studio. To the left is the bathroom with a bathtub to relax after exploring Waikiki pearls!!
The main room offers 2 full size beds for your comfortable sleep. The room is filled with ocean theme from carpeting to cute decorations on the walls and in pieces of furniture. You will be literally walking on the ocean waves.
There is also a flat screen TV if you want to enjoy hula dance music or just watch some of your favorite shows.
After a full day of exploring Ala Moana's urban grid, you can wind down on the wide lanai, or melt into the comfort of your very own cloud-like bed for a full recharge tomorrow. Enjoy the bright Hawaii sunrise from the lanai.

*Every single guest needs to pay Daily Resort fees ($25 x #of nights), and Key Issuance Fee ($50). Tax is exclusive. This payment is for Ala Moana Hotel. These fees are included in the total amount.
By paying these fees, you may access the hotel pool, sauna, and gym. However, it does not permit access to room service or any other hotel services.
Guests may leave their trash right outside their doors for Housekeeping to remove and dispose for them. Please place any and all trash in bags.

This stay was a gift for my son and his girlfriend. When they went to check in on the first day the front desk didn’t have their reservation and couldn’t check them in. They were given the hosts contact info. They called left a message with the host asking for help to rectify the situation. Never got a response from them so then they tried the emergency number and also left a message. All of this went on while waiting in the lobby at the hotel for quite sometime. My son got ahold of me so I also left a message from them. They finally needed to leave because they were already late for a birthday party. They never got a response that day and weren’t able to check in that day! I even called the host 2 days in advance of their arrival to be sure the front desk had my sons name for the reservation. I was assured everything would be fine. I finally received a response from the host the next morning! A little too late!! Plus, it’s been 3-4 days and still haven’t been credited my $300 deposit. It’s been an extremely frustrating experience.

Unit has great ocean and harbor views. Great location. Quiet (for a city!) and comfortable. Beds and pillows were ok. Noisy little fridge. Good property overall.

Balcony locked, could not access. Nothing in the website when purchasing said anything about construction at hotel. Hotel staff WILL NOT help you with anything, because you are not considered a hotel guest. This property is in a hotel, but this specific room is owned by another party. Asked for more pillows, took 3 days (only stayed 5). Staff at Lei Hawaii Realty was rude, and could care less about your experience. They just wanted your money.

Hotel Type Ocean View, 21st Floor, Ala Moana! Enjoy Beach and Shopping (AH10)
We had to book this unit only about one month before our trip so it was “ nonrefundable”. We knew the pool was not open during the day but after our booking was confirmed they advised us many of the lanai’s would be closed off due to outside remodeling work on the building. Since we were not familiar with this property we asked specifically if our unit was affected by the work and they didn’t respond to that issue. It was on the construction side and we could not use it at all. After making the reservation we were advised there was a substantial per day per person fee to use amenities at the hotel! Upon arrival the room had two beds but only one blanket ( only regular sheets on the bed) we had to use the decorative throws that protect the foot of the bed as blankets. There was no bath rug so we used one of the limited towels. I had to purchase a hairdryer ( unit was supposed to have one) even though I notified the management company. This unit may be discounted compared to the regular rates of the resort but we would have been much better off booking directly with Ala Moana Hotel. (After a couple of emails they said they would offer us a very minimal discount on a future visit.) I recommend this hotel for the location and the property, but I would recommend booking it on your own with the resort.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at Ala Moana. I was skeptical because of the bad reviews and the price was so cheap. We stayed in room 2110. We had a great view of the city. We also got the beautiful sunrise and a sunset view from our balcony. The room was clean. And the BEST PART was the beds were sooooo comfortable. There’s nothing worse then being on a trip and not sleeping well.
There’s a Starbucks in the lobby which was amazing. The gym was very clean and had new equipment.
I would highly recommend this place for the price.
