Worth it simply for the view! With the location, free parking, and all the amenities added in, it's a bargain. Everything that you see in the listing is exactly as it is in the condo, but the pictures do not do the view justice.
Excellent view and location
The view is spectacular. Diamond Head, the park, and the ocean on frontal views, and then beach, surfers, and ocean with evening sunsets on side views.
This was our first time in Oahu with our kids. We brought our elderly father along so that he could visit his 103-year-old aunt. We were a bit disappointed in the condition of the condo as we discovered many items in need of repair. It also could have used a deep cleaning. We found the leg broken on the sleeper sofa, the metal bedframe was broken on the small sleeper, the kitchen light bulb was out, the sliding partition door to the bedroom was detached, the patio door did not have a lock, the large curtains were in unstable condition so we were afraid to slide them, and some of the outlets were a fire hazard as they were loose and exposed the internal wiring. The Wifi and TV also did not work. We also found a few roaches in the kitchen cabinet. The owner was nice about it and did try to remedy some of the issues when we notified him; however, it was frustrating having to spend our vacation trying to get these issues resolved. He did tell us he would credit us $250 for these issues; however, we never saw that reflected on our credit card statement. His delayed response time to our questions prior to arrival was a bit frustrating. Sometimes it would take him weeks to respond to us. We began feeling quite nervous at his lack of communication and thought maybe this was a scam property. We have booked many vacation rentals and this is the first time we have had such a challenging time getting prompt and clear responses from the property owner.

Enjoyed the stay but we were a little disappointed in the quality if some of the basics like doors and accessories.
Absolutely fantastic location and we made the space work with five people. Love the walk-score and parking pass option. Sleeping options are good and ocean breeze delightful. The price was right for all these things but we really struggled with comfort concerning cleanliness and functioning of amenities. Wifi worked well and kitchen was well stocked. Electrical outlets in some rooms seem unsafe, elevators (at times) took 30 minutes, water was off for one day, cable provider is out of date (unlike Xfinity) and we ended up not using it, had to buy trash bags, coffee filters, paper towels, toilet paper, and wash towels often. Washing room takes an app and it’s close! Owner was polite to engage with.
Waikiki Banyan was the perfect location for our vacation. Was a short couple blocks to the main strip and Waikiki beach, we watched the sunset everyday. Also close to restaurants and food. Parking and pass provided by the host for the multilevel car park was super convenient. Elevator access to the apartment. Wifi worked well. There are extra boogie boards, deck chair, umbrella and cooler box to take to the beach. Plenty of towels and space. Washing machines and dryer is available down the hall on each floor ($2). The bed was huge. Sofa beds were comfortable for our family. Single sofa was okay. There was a pool and tennis court and bbq facilities as well. Overall a great apartment. Good response by the host. We will definitely stay again.
This is a comfortable place to spend your holiday in Oahu.it is so convenient and if you are thinking of renting a car it is perfect because car park is included.you need not spend a fortune for parking. The owner Arvis is very helpful too. He has gone beyond to ensure that we have a pleasant experience. We will definitely rent from him again. Even my family who rented another unit asked for his contact!
Easy to get to, short walk to beach, snack bar on roof and in lobby was good for quick easy breakfasts and lunches. Would totally stay again. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Didn’t have to leave messages and wait around to hear back. Thank you!!!
