This is an extremely well-maintained property that is in a typical older building right on the beach. The available space is very cleverly used and everything is labeled and in full working order. We loved hearing the wave crash and having to just step outside the property to walk on the beach go for a swim.
We had a wonderful stay at the condo and did everything that we wanted to do. It was perfect.
The title says it all. Very clean ocean front condo directly facing the ocean. It's on the second floor so you will enjoy that people walking the beach aren't looking directly in. Comfortable Cal King bed. Everything is well labeled and easy to use. Excellent communication from the hosts, and they even sent recommended info on the area before the trip eliminating some of the pre-trip research. No joke that you can watch whales breaching in the distance from the lanai, I saw several. However, if you want to get close up of that action, there's several whale watching tours only 4 miles down the road. If you want miles of beach walking, this is the place. The hot tub and pool always seemed busy, and there are plenty of loungers around the pool and also on the lawn facing the ocean. Never had a problem finding a spot to relax. My only complaint, which has nothing to do with the condo itself, are the resorts BBQ grills. Though they are kept very clean, half of them wouldn't light. One day, none would light and we had to get a staff person to bring a long stem lighter to get one going. I would stay here again.
Turtle Beach Resort is in an ideal location with a calm, lovely beach and beautiful pool area. The unit itself was exactly as promised... providing very clean, comfortable accommodations and an absolutely beautiful view of the ocean. The owners were very helpful with suggestions about what to do and where to go and were an absolute pleasure to deal with.I would definitely stay there again and recommend it without hesitation.
We had an awesome stay at 226 Sugar Beach! Condo was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed plus more and was literally right on the ocean! We enjoyed breakfast every morning and ended our day sitting on the balcony listening to the waves crash! The bed was comfortable and there were many amenities to use that made the stay so wonderful. From a well stocked kitchen, a safe, starter supplies that were plentiful to beach supplies, we had everything we needed. Don’t hesitate to book this unit! You will have a fabulous time!
Nice staying away from the busy areas like Wailea. Good central location to get to our activities all over the island.

The condo was perfect for us! We had a direct view of the ocean and it was only steps away. We enjoyed mornings with the ocean breeze and listening to the waves. Hosts were great in checkin in! Shopping, dining and site seeing was all within 10-20 minutes away! Highly recommend!
Lovely place to stay! We loved the balcony with a beach view and had breakfast every morning. The beach is a very short walk and great place to swim. The place was very clean and tidy, check in was easy. We will definitely stay again the next time we vacation in Maui.

Second floor balcony a stones throw from the ocean with beautiful views with all glass wall/slider/screen to open it up to the entire unit. A peaceful low traffic white sand beach in both directions for unlimited walking. A clean well equipped unit. Easy short 20 minute drive from airport. Location to Maui Ocean Center/Aquarium and ocean excursions 10 minute drive. Restaurants and shopping are not in walking distance but a 10 to 25 minute drive.

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was spotless on arrival and was stocked with everything you need to get settled. The bed is comfortable, there is a washer/drier and dishwasher, but the headline is THE VIEW! There is just nothing better than sitting on the balcony looking out over the beautiful blue ocean and listening to the sound of the waves (you can even spot some whales). If you can tear yourself away from the view, the location is perfect for exploring. Sugar Beach is right outside your window, Kihei is a 10 min drive away as is Maalaea harbor (many boat trips leave from here), and you are close to several beaches. Safeway and other shops are nearby.
Check in/out was a breeze, and the hosts reached outa couple of times by text to check that everything was going well.
100% recommend this place if you want the ocean view and beachside location!
Great location on our favorite beach! Big lanai with perfect view of the ocean and palm trees. Our first time at this complex, which has a nice big pool but we prefer some of the smaller complexes in the area. A comfortable unit with a newly renovated kitchen which was enjoyable.

This accommodation is wonderful. Very clean, plenty of amenities, very comfortable, nice air conditioning. Incredible ocean/coastal view.
Most of all, we appreciated that the unit is located right on a desirable section of beach. It is also very well-located relative to all of the fun things to do when exploring the island; other coastal towns seem to be further away from many of the island’s main day trips/hikes/destinations.
