We love staying here. It is our favorite place to stay in Kona. Great communication and the unit has more than you could possibly need for a wonderful stay in Kona.
David was a great, communicative host. His apartment is centrally located, making it easy to walk to many good restaurants and cafes, plus the included parking made exploring the island easy. The apartment is clean, nicely decorated, and the kitchen is fully stocked. It does sometimes get a little bit loud in the area at night but we weren't really bothered. Overall, we would definitely stay again!

The Kona Alii is probably our favourite condo on the Big Island. This was our first stay overlooking the pool rather than the street/ocean. We really enjoyed the unit. North-facing with a nice breeze in April, we rarely turned on the fans and certainly never missed air conditioning. The unit is well stocked, clean, and comfortable. Lots of room for the two of us. The only drawback was the early morning traffic floating through the bedroom window (mostly delivery and garbage trucks I think, at Coconut Grove) and the light from the outside hallway, but the owers can't control that. We had night shades, so that helped with the light. We loved the rooftop terrace for morning coffee and sunsets: we even spotted a whale breaching one evening. Thanks to David for accommodating our late check out! We would certainly stay here again!
I really enjoyed my stay. The condo was well equipped, clean and an amazing location. Communication was great and check-in instructions were easy to follow. Would definitely seek out this condo again for my next trip to the Big Island.
It was very spacious and had a lovely balcony. David was quick to answer all inquiries.
Great location with easy access to everything
Excellent place to stay. David was very thorough on the check in procedure, and with the operational details of the condo. It is a large 1 bedroom unit and could fit two additional people with the Murphy bed in the living room. The location is walking distance to several good restaurants, and sunset views. We enjoyed fresh fruit for breakfast on the lanai, which had a partial ocean view. It was a great place to base out of for our week of exploring the Big Island!
