The apartment was exactly what we were looking for. It had everything we needed for a beach vacation and Kamaole 2 beach within 5 mins walk. Drew was very helpful during tsunami alert during our stay. Highly recommended.
Amelia & Drew's place was exactly what we were looking for. Close to the beach, clean, comfortable beds, and fairly priced. We would definitely stay here again.
This was my grandson’s first trip to Maui & we were very happy with our Kihei Akahi accommodations. Great communication with Drew & Amelia both prior to & during our stay. I had a problem with the outdoor shade which was quickly resolved. Location just above Kameole II is perfect with easy access to local restaurants & shops. Unit is adequately supplied with kitchen needs. Nice perk to have soaps, shampoo, laundry soap supplied as well. With the roller shade on the lanai and lots of fans barely required use of AC- & it was hot during our stay. Would stay again & recommend to friends.

This place is beyond my expectation! This unit has a peek a boo view from the ocean and it is quietly located in a very desired area(restaurants and shops). We really enjoy the stay. This place is also spotless clean!!!!!!
Really great. Things offered in house is just fabulous to see that. We all loved staying here. Other places on island are very accessible from here. Will recommend anybody planning to visit Maui.
Very comfortable, very quiet. Easy walk to
Kam II or Kam III. Reserved parking is nice. The unit had AC, but we didn’t use it. We ran the fans and kept the windows and lanai open when we were there. The lanai has a sunshade that you lower during the day to keep the direct sun out. The unit had a variety of beach chairs boogie boards, a wagon, and soft sided coolers. The coolers were great for getting fresh fish or poke, or for taking a cool beverage to the beach to toast the sunset. I walked down to the beach each morning for snorkeling, which I found better on Kam III because of the way the little waves came in. Saw many turtles there.
Kihei Akahi is one of our favourite place to stay on Maui. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, and the daily cleaning of the barbeques to pristine condition is impressive. There are so many incredible restaurants nearby, and our favourite Kihei beach is just a walk down the path/drive.
The condo itself was great - so convenient to be on the first floor with no stairs or elevator to deal with! We thought the foot traffic may keep us awake at night as we are light sleepers, but it was never a problem. The bed and sofa were very comfortable, and the fans (and air flow through the condo) were enough to keep us comfortable without using the A/C.
Everything we needed was clean - the bedsheets, towels, dishes, etc., but a deep cleaning would be appreciated...my husband vacuumed many little dust bunnies from the bedroom ceiling so we could use the ceiling fan without (my) fear of them falling on us. A wipe down of the door panels, closet rods, cupboards, behind the toaster, etc. would also be appreciated.
It seemed there was a lot of beach gear available (that we didn't use LOL). A couple of small coolers had broken zippers, but we found a lunch kit that worked great for a half day out.
Our stay was comfortable, and we met so many great people - the top pool is a great meeting place! Everything was easy, and Drew provided detailed info for both the condo and Kihei life. We look forward to staying here again. Mahalo!
Communication with host was impeccable; very responsible and easy to work with. He was also flexible to allow us to extend our stay.
The condo is located at an amazing place, everything is there (kitchen, nice pool, parking, wifi, very close to beach, dishwasher and even washing machine, sun chairs and umbrella, nice beach towels, etc.).
I wouldn't have let an adult sleep in the sofa bed; you can feel the springs, but for a kid, it was fine.
We enjoyed our stay at this condo. Highly recommend.

Everything we needed was supplied. All we had to do was enjoy the local foods, drinks, scenery and hospitality. The on-site staff was excellent as were Drew's notes, memos and spot on suggestions. Mahalo, Drew. God bless.
Amelia and Drew's condo is as exactly as described and is a well stocked condo; really a home away from home. You couldn't ask for a better location with the complex right across the street from Kamaole II beach.
Added bonus was the host provided detailed information about the condo, and even recommended places to visit, eat and shop. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
The location of the unit was wonderful and it was very comfortable. It had all the things one needed for cooking and beach supplies. The air condition was a relief during those hot days. The blind for the lanai was a great idea during the heat of the day. My only recommendation is new cushions for the two lower chairs on the lanai.
Great location right across the street from one of Maui’s best beaches! Our stay was very comfortable and would definitely stay again!
This Condo was just what we needed. I love the location and the grounds. This property was exactly as described.The complex is quiet, safe, peaceful and family friendly. The two pools and pickleball court were a great bonus on the complex. The Grills and pools were cleaned daily. The Beach Wagon came in handy to haul all of our beach needs to the beach.
Being on the first level was also another great bonus. Easy Parking with nearby garbage and recycling.
We pray that this unit will be available for our next stay at Drew and Amelia's condo.
The office gave us the phone # to call when need anything. However, we did call him for toilet papers 2 days Sun/Mon morning/afternoon (all day), nobody pickup the phone. complained to the office, office said "keep / try" to call him (???). We had to go to Safeway to buy it. it's not a big deal, but service is "how many stars would you give to?"
Good place. Excellent communications from owner. Only weird thing is that there’s lots of things stored neatly nearly everywhere. For example lots of miscellaneous things stored under bed, in drawers, and in the closet. Nothing bad, but just unexpected. Would stay there again.
This property felt like home. Cleanliness and beach decor plus very spacious accommodations. Walking distance to the beach, stores, and restaurants.
We enjoyed our Maui visit so much! Local places like Beach Street were an almost daily treat. The host sent a welcome package that helped us prep in advance for amazing opportunities like our sunrise experience at Haleakala (thank you so much for that tip!) and exploring along the road to Hana. The beach...an everyday pleasure! The welcome package also included tips on many of the area restaurants (a particular favorite--brunch at the Hula Grill! terrific food and ambiance!). The condo is in a great location, and it's very comfortable. What an amazing adventure! I think we had a better time because of the help and preparation of the welcome package from a wonderful host!
All the appliances are very old especially dishwasher (smelly). Bath room is very tiny and pillars look very old and dirty. Apartment itself look clean though.
We recently stayed sept 23-26 for my daughters 9th birthday. The place was great! Where exactly do I start? The area !! Such a clean area with the nicest people. Just a 5 min walk to the beach (which is super family friendly) bars and restaurants also walking distance. We drive to a small breakfast cinnamon bun place to pick up coffee and a huge cinnamon roll in place of a cake for my daughter on her bday topped with a candle lol as for the apartment it’s on the first floor such an amazing view, balcony had chairs and tables, living room had the queen mattress in the couch, dinning table, kitchen had everything we needed, the room and bathroom were perfect as well. Drew has beach chairs, toys, and umbrellas in the closet, the washer/dryer came in handy as well. He is super responsive & I would totally recommend his place to anyone with a small group of 5 or less. Had a great time. Thank you !!
