You can’t beat the ocean front condo!! Views are beautiful. Condo had everything we needed and stayed cool without AC. Cleanliness was the only “issue” we had with the condo. The other issues were with Papakea, not with the condo itself. (People feeding the birds and attracting them and 4th floor people shaking towels over the railing and getting sand all over our lanai). We loved the beach in front of the condo and beautiful sunsets. Condo owner was great to deal with.

We stayed at the Papakea resort for a week in February. Check in was so simple and fast the room was clean and well stocked with essentials we needed. Even several beach items to use while we stayed and checked out other local beaches. The view from the deck was the best part. We ate all our meals outside and watched as whales jumped and played right there. The property is well maintained and clean our kids loved the pool. So nice to have private beach access with a shower to rinse off with as well. Our family will definitely be back again, wish we could've stayed longer. -Vorhees Family

Wonderful place, great location for watching whale’s or just listening to the ocean right off the lanai. Everything we needed was at the place, beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, umbrella, kitchen was well stocked, all appliances are newer and work well. Having a washer/dryer is a huge bonus. This was our second stay at Papakea resort and would go again in a heartbeat!
Everything was in perfect order. Would definitely rent this unit again!
Wonderful property and experience!
We spent 7 nights at this property; it was possibly the best vacation so far for us! The property is right on the beach, we watched the moon and sunset from the lanai. The unit is equipped with all necessary appliances and equipment, it also has additional stuff for water/ ocean activities. The unit is very well maintained. The owner Rob is awesome and very responsive to every question I had. The Papakea property is very well maintained and family friendly!
Everything was good here, and we rent at Papakea every year. But if you are a wine drinker, bring your own real wine glasses, as we did, since theirs are colored plastic ones. Also, on very hot days, the lack of air conditioning could be a problem for some, but we had no real problem.

Wonderful view and kitchen and bath. No air conditioning, but. didn't need it! Fans worked perfectly and breeze from the ocean was great. Love that it is on the 3rd floor, more privacy! Host was so easy to work with and accommodating! We hope to be back when they have an opening!
