We stayed here for about two weeks. The condo was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked, minus baking sheets. The crockpot was very helpful. Their was great air circulation and fans. Even in July we had a good nights sleep. There are a few knicks and scuffs throughout the unit. It didnt interfere with our stay but I wanted to make the owner didnt think they were from us. Also the public Sheraton beach is literally across the street. Sometimes it felt uncomfortable to leave doors ooen with the light local traffic and visitors. On the flip slide, we could see and hear the laua from the balcony.
This property is not as advertised. From the pictures posted, I had no idea that we would be overlooking a public parking lot with people coming and going by vehicle and foot from 6 AM to 9 PM to access the beach. The one picture of the lanai that is included, you can see in the bottom right corner the edge of a vehicle. If you imagine zooming out this picture, you will be overlooking an entire parking lot from both the upstairs and the downstairs lanai. We were unhappy with the quality and the upkeep of the property from the moment we stepped in, and tried to get out of the rental within 24 hours of the beginning of our stay. We communicated clearly with the host our displeasure, and she refused to let us out. Additionally, lightbulbs were burnt, outlets only half worked, cracks were in the kitchen floor, kitchen cabinet doors wouldn’t stay shut, and the water pressure was terrible. It was so inconvenient that we had to go buy our own extension cords to get fans placed in front of windows for proper airflow. If you go back and view her negative comments, you will find others with similar experiences up to 10 years ago. This shows a pattern of behavior and an unwellness to accurately list this property. Why VRBO hasn’t pulled her from their site yet, I do not know. Be very careful with this one. NOT WORTH THE MONEY, and we know what to expect after many previous VRBO rentals.
Close to beach. Great view off the deck of the ocean. The gardens were very beautiful. The only surprise was the lack of condiments (salt, pepper, ketchup, etc.) Very clean!
The quintessential location and vacation for our family of four. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed and more. Stones throw to the beach and the Sheraton which hosted a luau that we attended and recommend. Would love to return someday. Feel fortunate the hosts shared their special place with us! Thank you!!
Have stayed in several units at the kiahuna plantation over the years. This unit was steps to the beach. Dedicated parking spot. Actually we had 2 cars not a problem. The unit is exactly as posted furnishings are simple but adequate kitchen well stocked Plenty of linens towels etc. my grandson slept on the pullout couch and stated it was comfortable. Washer and dryer in unit but need to provide your own soap. Lanai very large and wonderful view. Unit next to Sheraton and can hear nightly luaus beautiful orchid garden as you come out of unit if you’re a golfer excellent course minutes away. We used beach chairs every day Several stores and restaurants within walking distance. Large swimming pool also across the street if you don’t mind walking there. Only issue which is a minor one was lighting in kitchen was sparse otherwise great unit. Will probably book again on our next visit
My three sisters and I loved staying here. We could see the ocean from our deck and loved walking to the beach several times each day to swim. We feel like we really lucked out on the location with such easy close access to the beach. Management was very quick to respond to our needs, and the owner was fabulous.
We loved the location at this pretty & clean ocean-view unit of Kiahuna Plantation. Everyone slept comfortably and enjoyed time together in the family room & kitchen.
We loved our stay here. Perfect location. Kids could swim at the beach.
This is a very nice two bedroom condo located right on the Kiahuna beach. The upstairs is open and comfortable. The downstairs has the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Kiahuna Plantation is a beautiful area which is landscaped beautifully. We sat on the lanai and watched the ocean roll in. The owner is good to communicate with. We enjoyed our 8-day stay here from Sept. 2 through Sept. 10 and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Needs some updating but nice location and size for a family of 5. We had other families staying at the same development with nicer/updated condos for the same or at a lower cost.
This is a great property in a gorgeous resort. The grounds are luscious and the view can’t be beat!

The location was fantastic!! We loved the fresh beach towels every day, and the gardens were impeccably maintained. The outdoor gas grills were cleaned daily making them great to use. We cooked most of our meals, and the kitchen was overall well equipped. The outdoor table and chairs on the balcony overlooking the ocean were appreciated for daytime games, meals, and drying our towels! The pool and gym area at the back of the club was fantastic. Our adult children especially loved the racquet ball courts and the sports bar, and utilized the weight equipment as well. Communication with our hostess was timely and very helpful. We’ll definitely be back.
We've stayed at Kiahuna 4 times now and it's just the best. This location has an ocean view. At first I was worried because the public parking area is right outside, but it was very quiet. The living room is well furnished and the bathrooms are very nice. The bed was kind of bouncy, but otherwise we had an excellent stay.
