    Welcome to "My Hawaiian Condo" - Hale Mahina Unit A405!

    Hale Mahina (Ha-lay Ma-hee-nah), is one of the most unique properties on Maui's West side.
    Just a few miles from the big resorts and crowded beaches of Kaanapali, Hale Mahina is situated on it’s own small private beach with beautiful gardens and oceanfront pool and spa.
    The property is located within walking distance to groceries, farmer’s market, coffee, restaurants and other conveniences.

    Unit A405, located on the fourth (top) floor (with elevator), is a two bedroom, two bath, non-smoking condo with all of the amenities of home. This beautifully decorated unit is approximately 1,100 square feet with open plan living spaces and lofted ceilings.

    The upstairs loft suite has a king size bed and full bath. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed with en suite bath. The sofa in the living room doubles as a queen size sleeper to comfortably accommodate up to 5 people.

    Amazing property!! Exactly like the description. The condo was very clean and the amenities are top notch. I really appreciate that there were beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and more. The view is amazing. I can’t think of one bad thing about this place!! The owners are very easy to communicate with and the check in process was easy! I loved that there was access to the pool and beach. The only sad part was that we had to go home. I highly recommend this condo. Such a hidden gem!!

    This is the most incredible place! We had the time of our life. All Beth’s recommendations were amazing- the snorkel store, farmers market and deli, the suggested beaches, and walks. All in, this was our best family vacation ever! Many thanks for John and Beth’s hospitality and for offering your place so we can make such amazing memories.

    We were satisfied with the property, and it was clean and the owners were very responsive. But in no way should this be described as a penthouse, or a premium property. The location is excellent! Right on the ocean, and located in the part of Maui that is the best place to stay, IMO. The condo was clean and well stocked. The owners go to great lengths to make sure guests have the extras needed to enjoy their vacation. In all, our experience was very good. However, I do think it is important to give reasonable and accurate reviews, and there are several reasons why I don’t consider this premium. First, this is an older unit with older appliances and furnishings. The downstairs bedroom mattress was, IMO, FAR too soft. I slept upstairs and the mattress was acceptable, but not premium in any way. The unit has no AC, which is disclosed. Not a problem for us in early May, and I suspect it’s fine year round. But it can get a little warm. The breeze is amazing, and sleeping to the sounds of the ocean was wonderful. The complex only allows smoking in the parking lot. There are a few chairs there, but it seems that they could arrange the far North part of the beach to allow guests to enjoy a cigar there in the evening. Could be a pro or a con, depending on the individual. Overall our stay was nice, and I would recommend the unit for most folks. But I would think most would agree that the only thing premium is the location, and the thoughtfulness and attention given by owner

    This property was spacious, updated, well-located and had everything you need. Whale-watching right from the lanai on the top level was amazing. Of course we did adventure, but you don’t even really have to go anywhere to enjoy your holiday from Hale Mahina. Just perfect! Mahalo!
