NO CENTRAL AC--HAS PORTABLE AC IN BEDROOM, BUT IT WILL NOT COOL OTHER AREAS. WE HAVE CEILING FANS, STAND FANS, AND GREAT CROSS-VENTILATION ALONG WITH WONDERFUL TRADE WINDS (MOST OF THE TIME--NO GUARANTEES ON TRADES). WHEN YOU REQUEST TO BOOK , PLEASE STATE THAT YOU ARE OK WITH AC STATUS!

PLEASE NOTE: The corridors where OUTSIDE entry to each unit is located (NOT on BEACH SIDE) will undergo renovation beginning October 1 that is “projected” to end on Nov 17, 2023 (as everyone knows, “projections” as just that!).  There will be some noise and perhaps some inconvenience M-F  approximately 9 am-4 pm (no work on Sat/Sun). This should not be a concern for most guests since almost everyone will be on our beautiful beach or out exploring Oahu’s many tourist attractions.

Please let me know you understand the above and also the AC status of this unit.

When we say BEACHFRONT, we mean absolute beachfront! The PRINCESS BUILDING sits smack dab on the beach in the photo! It's the most beautiful beach on Oahu.

This is a one bedroom condo facing an awesome beach. The unit has everything you need. A well equipped kitchen, Beach chairs, towels etc. The best part is the beach. The view from the balcony is even better than the photos. We had a great week. Everything the owners and reviewers say is about right. Great rental. Very quiet area. The owners were very easy to deal with.

This is a great place for people looking to get away from the city. The beach is long and clean and beautiful and NOT crowded. It is a bay so somewhat protected but there can be a lot of wind and waves. We did some snorkeling and saw plenty of turtles and other fish. Apartment was clean and very well stocked. Nice that we didn’t have to buy some essentials like oil and salt. Owners were attentive and checked that we had all we needed. Bed very comfortable. Shower was quite good. Other people in the building were friendly and helpful. Wish there was a recycling program here but didn’t see any. Wish the neighborhood had more of an interest to offer. The nearest public beach has a lot of homeless encampments. Overall, it was a great accommodation.

We enjoyed our final Honeymoon days in the condo with such a breathtaking view! We found Makaha to be a relatively good location to where we needed to go, as long as you avoid rush hours. I do feel I need to mention, but at no fault of the owners, the the homeless population is high and we did feel a bit unsafe in the area at times. However, the gated parking lot and high security measures did help to make us feel more comfortable. The AC is not an issue at all, and the cross breeze and in-condo fans were more than enough to keep us cool. The owners were very easy to communicate with and quite thorough regarding check in/out info as well.

If you’re looking for the ultimate relaxing vacation on the beach…this is the property for you! The palm trees and ocean are your backyard! The sunsets from the lanai were gorgeous! Some perks to love: the gated parking, the friendly guests, the “private” beach, the sound of the ocean waves, beach chairs and umbrellas, snorkel gear and body boards to mention a few. The communication with the owners was amazing and they left detailed information for the trip and tourist attractions! You might get lucky and see a turtle or two!☀️🌴
