Our spacious, newly constructed 4900 s.f. custom home sits beachfront on the iconic Chun's Reef Surf Break. With family-friendly, white sand beaches and waves for all skill sets, Chun’s Reef is ideal from those learning to surf, to the most advanced water sports enthusiasts.
Work on your tan in our lush tropical garden, or hang out in the shade of the covered lanai and take in the best of what the legendary North Shore has to offer. The main home is designed with 2 master bedroom suites, and each of the 5 bedrooms is designed to showcase stunning ocean views. The craftsman style living room opens directly to the covered lanai through a 16-foot wide pocket door, connecting you with the environment your entire stay. Our 1900 s.f. of covered lanais feature breathtaking 180 degree ocean views. From the comfort of our home, you can see the endangered Hawaiian Sea Turtles year round. The winter months bring the big waves, as well as breaching humpback whales you can view right from your room.
Our home also features an open, state of the art kitchen with granite counter tops, new appliances, and a 10 foot long granite island and eating bar. Enhance your dining experience with the adjoined 16’ x 16’ dining lanai, complete with a BBQ grill. The lower level game room opens directly to the covered patio with a separate dining area as well.
The adjacent cottage has an ocean front master bedroom and living room. It also has a full kitchen and dining room.
While winter brings the infamous Haleiwa surf community to life, summer is an ideal time to take advantage of the unforgettable calm waters and incredible clarity. Come snorkel with the sea turtles, or kayak and stand up paddle along the iconic coastline with your family. Let the kids run wild on the spacious lawn, or take a few short steps down to the tide pools, for a fun and exciting learning experience they’ll never forget.
The house sits two miles from Historic Haleiwa Town, home to a wide range of dining experiences, as well as unique shops, art galleries, and local farmers markets.
Less than 3 miles away sits the gorgeous and world famous Waimea Bay. Hike the Waimea botanical gardens, swim in the waterfall, or relax on the expanse of it’s gorgeous white sand. In the winter you can watch the world’s top surfers take on the raw power of one of the biggest, and most famous waves on the planet. Waimea Bay.
15 minutes North is Turtle Bay Resort, where you can play golf, tennis, travel the horseback riding trails, and sample the newest tropical flavor creations from world renowned chefs.
20 minutes North is the Polynesian Cultural Center, an entertaining crash course in the rich culture and lore of the islands. The cultural show at the PCC is well known as the best on the island.

This is the perfect stay for families visiting the North Shore area. The pictures of the property do not do the house justice! It’s right on the beach, so you can watch the surfers or just enjoy the views. The seating area outside makes it great for families all to sit together and enjoy the weather. They also provide toys for young kids along with books! My nieces loved exploring the yard and finding birds and lizards.
The hosts let us have a later check out due to flight issues and were great communicators, they answered my questions fast and helped us with all our needs!
I definitely recommend this stay to anyone coming to O’ahu with family or friends!

First, lets start with the house. It has this incredible living room that opens up completely onto the deck, which was a natural spot for everyone to gather. The kitchen was so well stocked that we often lost track of where everything was. Almost every bedroom had its own, luxurious bathroom and all but one (in the cottage) opened up onto the ocean... just like the listing said but so much more impressive in person.
The location could not have been better. It is maybe 50 steps from Chun's Reef (Beach?). We often sat on our deck and watch the surfers. In the other direction from Chun's is Turtle Beach (it has a real name but we never learned it) where there always seem to be sea turtles on the beach or bobbing in the waves. Furthermore, the house is only 10 minutes from Hale'iwa, perhaps the best town on Oahu (great shopping, dining and shave ice).
Finally, I can't overstate how great Ashley was to work with. When covid cancelled our 2020 plans, she made sure we found a time we could come. When the coffee maker broke, there was a new one on the doorstep by that afternoon. When one of the kids got covid, she made sure that we had were taken care of until we could fly out. She is one of the best owners we've every worked with.

My family of 5 stayed at this home with my husband's two brothers and their families. The home was spacious and had multiple master bedrooms which was great for all the adult couples on the trip. The house had an amazing open concept living room to the deck that looked out to the ocean. The beach directly in front of the house was tide pools, but a short walk to the right got you to the sandy beach. The town of Haleiwa was a short distance away which was very convenient, but we loved just hanging around the house! I would absolutely recommend this home for your vacation!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. We are very safety conscious and each person did a COVID test upon arrival, all with negative results. However, one person developed symptoms and had to isolate. How nice to have the cottage for this person, and to have outside, covered dining for the rest of us! Bedroom and bath arrangements worked well for our group of 10 adults and 3 children.

The location of this beautiful house is fantastic. The beaches and views are wonderful. The house has everything necessary for a fun time and a great kitchen with everything you need to cook.

Enjoyed our stay at the house. The house is exactly as pictured. Lot's of room for everyone and right on the beach. Loved listening to the waves each day & the views are very relaxing. We all plan on coming back and will definitely consider this house again.

We had a large family group staying at this property and we could not have been happier with the location. The views out the patio are amazing and it was close to a lot of fun things we wanted to do (Waimea Bay, waterfalls, sharks cove, Matsumoto, very short walk to see large turtles on the beach, lots of food trucks/restaurants, etc). The kids loved searching the rocks/tide pools in the backyard searching for treasures and hermit crabs. The house was equipped with sand toys(handle was broken on basket but it was full of plenty of things to entertain the kids for hours at the beach), beach chairs and boogie boards that made our beach days that much more fun. Each family easily had their own room and bathroom making it comfortable for our large group with each having an awesome ocean view! A few things that would have put this rental over the top would have been more towels in each of the bathrooms, a few extra blankets/sheets/pillows on site, updates on some of the hardware/metal that is corroding throughout the home, and there were a few cleanliness issues. Not enough to change my review of 5 stars though. Ashley was by far one of the best hosts I’ve ever worked with through vrbo and was very responsive and answered all my questions leading up to our vacation as well as during our trip.
