Only a two-minute stroll from our home... enjoy swimming in the delicious water of Kealakekua Bay. Watch dolphins jumping, whales breaching in the bay while sitting under the coconut palms or doing yoga on the grass at Manini beach.

Hale Maluhia La‘a' (home of sacred peace,) is a wonderful beach house, nestled among a lush green tropical paradise, along with banana, papaya and fragrant plumeria flowers. A large green lawn surrounds the family (ohana) home.

We had a great time! Traveling with "twenty-somethings" and not "twenty-somethings" is a challenge and the home gave us enough space that everyone could relax or socialize without feeling intrusive. Anna is a wonderful host that is quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Access to Kona or the southern point of the island was convenient from this location. Manini park and water access is just down the street and other beaches are a very short drive. Highly recommend spending vacation time here.

We really enjoyed the area, we loved working with Anna she was great! The home was wonderful! The beach was within walking distance, and the snorkeling was amazing. We loved the Island!

We have a large family of nine and this house was perfect and in our price range. We loved the location close to snorkeling and tidepools. Our host was great, communicative and helpful. The property felt very private and lush. Bring mosquito repellant!

We had an absolutely wonderful 10 day stay at the house! It was very comfortable for our party of 8 people. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. We ate outside on the beautiful deck for every meal. All the furniture is also very nice and comfortable. Nate the caretaker and Katherine were super nice and helpful, they brought us great banana bread that Katherine made and fruit from their garden. The bay and very nice park are only a few minutes from the house. We are very happy we stayed there and love the area and would definitely stay there again!

Anna was an amazing host! She was alway willing to give us ideas for our next adventure and they were always spot on. The house was amazing for my family of 10. The scenery and experience just two minutes walk away was great, seeing whales, dolphins and sea turtles. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and is so peaceful. Will definitely be booking again next time I come.

Anna and Catherine were accommodating and communicative for our needs during our 2 week stay in Captain Cook HI.
This home is a Quiet property in a near jungle setting several minutes walk to Manini beach with great views of the sunset and ingress for snorkeling. The property has an excellent Deck with secluded garden view (and visible ocean in the near distance) was our favorite spot in this home.
Ample bedroom space for 3 couples and a small family upstairs, but expect to manage bathroom use.

This property is a great find for a large family gathering. The location is peaceful and just a couple of blocks from the water and a beautiful local park....not a sandy beach. Anna is an excellent host - great communication, responsive, friendly. The home is clean and well maintained. Guests should be aware that restaurants and other services are roughly a 10-15 minute drive up the hill.
