NOTICE: OUR COMPLEX WILL BEGIN ROOF REPLACEMENT ON ALL BUILDINGS BEGINNING MAY 1, 2023. (Our building is scheduled Oct. 27 - Nov. 13). There could be outside construction noise throughout the complex during this time.
This beautiful top floor, Grand Champs condo has one of the best ocean views in the complex. This fully updated 2 bedroom, 2 full bath condo has wonderful panoramic ocean views perfect for sunsets and whale watching. From the extra large, newly tiled lanai, you can see the West Maui Mountains, and the island of Lanai while enjoying your morning coffee or evening cocktails. The front entry and bedroom has a beautiful view of Haleakale. It is our goal to provide everything we possibly can for your utmost enjoyment while in paradise. We've just added new stainless appliances in the kitchen including a double oven. This condo is also our home and we want you to love it as much as we do. We have several guests who return year after year to our other Grand Champs condo and we want the same for this one.
There are beautiful, new granite counter tops, new cabinets and new stainless appliances in the kitchen. Both baths have new granite counters with vessel sinks. Both baths also have new bath and shower tile. We also added a beautiful new Hawaiian area carpet in the living room to compliment the new Tommy Bahama entertainment center and new 50' HD Flat screen TV and DVD player. There is a generous supply of DVDs and books for your enjoyment. WI-FI internet is throughout the condo and free long distance to the Mainland and Canada is provided.
We also own vrbo #243486 which is on the second floor. Both two bedroom units are in the same building, just seconds from door to door. It is excellent for larger parties who need two units. These lock-out units have two entry doors so two couples sharing the condo can have more privacy when needed and still enjoy each others company with the adjoining door.
Each bedroom has been set up to rival the popular but expensive Wailea resorts. Both bedrooms have king beds with new luxurious bedding, complete with new pillows and top quality Eqyption cotton sheets. Each bedroom also has a new 32 inch flatscreen TV and DVD player. The kitchen boasts a fully equipped kitchen in the main area as well as a kitchenette on the studio side. The studio is set up with its own coffee maker and microwave. We had a great vacation in Maui. The apartment was clean and had everything we possibly needed. Our weather was extremely warm so we couldn't sit outside as much as we might have liked. The beds were super comfortable. Better than any place we have ever stayed. Almost hated getting out of them in the morning! Would definitely return to this property and highly recommend it to others.
Be aware that there are 27 steps from the parking lot.
Top Floor is great for views and quiet but there is no elevator so please be aware of this.
Suggestions to owner:
Slider to deck from main living area is almost impossible to open/close. Not sure if it worn out or off its tracks? We used the bedroom slider so it was no issue.
We would have liked a couple of nice non-stick fry pans for bacon and eggs. This is not unusual for most VRBO's we rent.....Normally I buy one at Wally world and leave it behind but we ate out quite a bit. Only 1 lounge chair on patio....2 would be nice! Last suggestion....run at least one A/C for a couple of hours before expected guest arrival. We arrived during the late afternoon and the apartment was stifling hot. We had just carried 3 bags of luggage and the groceries we bought for the week up 27 steps several times so we were sweating profusely until the A/C's kicked in.
With these minor exceptions....we still loved the property and our stay. Monkeypod restaurant is awesome and close by....advanced reservations should be planned.

Property has excellent location with beautiful sunset ocean view. Close to shopping centre for quick morning cappuccino.Easy access to beach from shopping parking or 10 min walking distance if you prefer not to use a car.
