Amazing views offering a very relaxing vacation! The home is very spacious and has a wonderful layout for a large family/group.
The property was beautiful as was the location…but there were some issues: the internet signal was not strong enough for the whole house, the AC wasn’t working in the two lower bedrooms, there was no propane for the grill to start our stay, some of the door handles were not working and the fridge had some issues (not cooling and the ice maker went down). A maintenance tech did come in and get the refrigerator working the day after it went down and the AC was replaced after two days (though it was a known problem). The property manager could have been a bit more responsive and all of the issues except the refrigerator above could have easily been addressed prior to our arrival.
The property is spacious and kitchen is well-stocked. There were plenty of beach towels and beach gear in the garage also. We enjoyed the host welcome gift of fruits and macadamia. However, the AC in the 2 rooms downstairs were broken. We called on our first night but no one showed up. We kept calling but the AC did not get fixed until the 3rd night, which was half of the duration of our stay. This made the vacation not as pleasant for the 5 people that are sleeping in the downstairs bedroom.
Our family came to celebrate our parent’s 80th birthdays. We had 12 people and never felt on top of each other. The house was spacious and beautiful! We loved hanging out by the pool to watch the gorgeous sunset. It was very peaceful listening to the birds, geckos and frogs. There are many small maintenance things that need fixing that could be done in a handyman’s day visit. But we still loved every second!
The home was awesome. The sunset views were picture worthy. The WiFi was not good. Overall though we would stay there again.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience! Our grandkids even said that, out of all the things we did and saw on the Big Island, being at the house was the best part! Pros: Very spacious and clean; fully-stocked kitchen; pool was the perfect size for us; large family room, bathrooms and bedrooms; hampers in each bathroom; in close proximity to several places we frequented (market, coffee shop, shaved ice, restaurants, chocolate and coffee factories, snorkeling…); ocean view. Cons: All the doors were louver-type, so we could hear everything; would like a few more sets of towels, flat bed sheets and throws, minor repairs needed (some fixtures coming off, lightbulbs, dishwasher “fell” out , couldn’t control a/c & ceiling fan in upstairs master bedroom). One concern we had was, when we got locked out of the house (the door code stopped working), we had a difficult time reaching the Jesse, property mgr.

Overall a great stay. House was awesome in size, layout and amenities for our family group of eight. We went out and about when we felt like it, but were equally happy just to enjoy the property and its offerings. A beautifully custom-built house, but now aging to the point where there is ongoing maintenance that is need to keep it at a standard that matches the rental 'ask'. I sent a list of about 13 items, a couple of which have a level of urgency needed, for repairs. On arrival there was one large glass slider that couldn't be locked. The Property manager responded quickly to that. The rest could be dealt with after we vacated the property.
We had such an amazing week at this house! The location was perfect for us. Away from the crowds and traffic but close enough to get to everything within 10-15 minutes. The neighborhood was quiet and so peaceful. We enjoyed our morning walks looking at all the flowers. The house itself was beautiful, so spacious and had every amenity you'll need for your stay! The outdoor area is really the highlight! Sitting by the pool or on the couch having coffee and watching the ocean and sunsets! Everyone is going to miss our "Big Island House!" We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our family of ten stayed for two weeks and loved the location. We have been visiting the Kailua-Kona area every year for the last 30 years and this was our first time renting this property. There was plenty of room for everyone and we made great use of the pool, the kitchen and outdoor grill for family meals, and the lanai for relaxing the enjoying the amazing views, especially the sunsets. We explored the island in every direction from this central location.Our tall family members found the furniture to be very low to the ground and somewhat uncomfortable as a result. Some aspects of the property and furnishings need updating so we thought the price was high given the status of the furnishings, finishes, linens, etc. Everything was very clean and service concerns related to AC or pool service had prompt response.
Size of house is fantastic and pool is bigger than it looks. Great location and views. Home provides many kitchen appliances needed and paper/soap supplies needed for our stay. Sadly home is dirty and needs a really good cleaning and minor maintainence and needs sprayed for roaches
Booked the trip with extended family from February 14th to February 21st 2025. The property manager met me at the property and I brought one issue forward about the individual room air conditioner remotes to his attention for non-function. He was insistent he could go get some batteries for the remotes but I told him I could easily manage that as I was making a trip to Costco. He informed on his visit that he wanted to have contractors come into the house to perform some repairs on the property and really couldn't find a maintenance window of having the issues remediated because of the back to back booking constraints they were facing with the property.a. Back door latch / lock to yard area was not working correctly. b. Main bath toilet was acting strange in its flushing and tank refilling cyclec. Light issues between the lanai and the main living room lighting - dimming and actuation. The contractors never came and he and I never communicated for the rest of the week. The property is beautiful - the front pool area is breathtaking for sunsets; but the house needs a couple things. I ended up having to program the two other bedroom air conditioners with the main remote to get the function correct as the two remotes in the other upstairs bedrooms were non operable even with batteries. Would I rent it again? Yes but hopefully with all the house issues remediated and possibly a little better value. For the pricing they ask for - everything should be in perfect order.
A gorgeous house with a wonderful pool and stunning view that was perfect for our extended family of eight adults and three children. There is also a double sized air mattress that we put to good use to optimize for our mix of singles and couples. Host Jesse and housekeeping were very responsive to our request for additional linens and delivered them within a few hours – on a Sunday. We did not opt for the optional pool heating service, but found the water temperature to be “perfect” anyway – in January. The house is fully air-conditioned, but for our visit, we found little need to run it. In a quiet and peaceful setting within a gated community. Note the “two car” limit for the driveway; there is no on-street parking. We managed fine with our two seven passenger rentals. An all around five-star experience and we would not hesitate to come again.
This house was perfect for our family of 10! With the strong waves at the beach, we were able to keep the littles happy with the pool and pool floats provided. The house was beautiful, clean, inviting and the neighborhood was absolutely beautiful!
Overall the size of the house and pool worked very well for our extended family. Unfortunately, all doors were vented and therefore privacy and sound proofing was non existent.We had a baby and toddler with us, trying to keep voices down and TV quiet was very challenging. A number of items need to be updated or fixed at the house. It is situated on a residence estate, with shops beach a 5 -10 minute drive away

We spent a week in this lovely property in August. It was my family of 4, another family of 4 and another family of 3. Kids were 15, 13, 12, 11, and 11. We put the kids in the two smaller rooms upstairs (we did need to buy a blow up mattress from the local WalMart for the 5th kid). One couple stayed in the master with the ensuite. The other two stayed in the larger rooms on the main floor. The only issue was that one couple used the full bath on the main while the other had to go upstairs to the hallway bath. Other than that minor inconvenience our group enjoyed the large, lovely home. We spent most of our time at the house sitting on the patio staring over the pool and into the ocean. The view is simply breathtaking and the location was great...close to Kona and the airport.
This property has an amazing ocean view. The pool is larger than it appears in the pictures. The house is nice, but has it's quirks. The bedrooms have individual room air conditioners and ceiling fans. The living room, dining room and kitchen have central air. Due to the need for ventilation all the bedroom doors and even the bathroom doors are louvered doors. Plenty of space for our group of 7!
Overall, the property was perfect for our family vacation. The property was clean and the pool was a godsend.
There were a few minor things that could have easily been addressed prior to our arrival, but we had a fantastic time!
Our family had the pleasure of staying at the spectacular Keauhou Gated Residences with postcard worthy ocean views and pool. This residence was the perfect place for our entire extended family to make special memories while exploring and enjoying the Big Island together. The large chef’s kitchen was perfect for preparing meals and dining at the large island or sitting in the large dining room. We purchased groceries and prepared home cooked meals after exploring the sites during the day! The backyard BBQ and outdoor island were also a hit for a holiday BBQ. The outdoor pool was perfect for swimming during the day or relaxing during the evening. The spectacular sunsets and ocean views were the perfect backdrop for photos and for appreciating the Hawaiian landscapes. The large living room provided a space for everyone to connect at the end of the day and enjoy a movie. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated and many had a private lanai. We felt safe in the community and appreciated the beautifully landscaped spaces. The proximity to the beaches, shopping centers, restaurants, and the airport was appreciated. We enjoyed staying at our Hawaiin oasis which felt like living in a postcard and was our home away from home! We would recommend this residence to anyone wanting to escape to a true Hawaiian paradise! Mahalo!
The house is huge and airy with a great kitchen. Nice pool beautiful neighborhood close to the keohou mall and a nice big table that fits at least 10 people and also good for playing large card games.
As highlighted in the other reviews, the property was gorgeous. Pictures accurately represent the property, it was well decorated, rooms were larger than expected, view of the ocean was amazing. 5 minutes to a shopping center, 10 minutes from the beach, and 15 minutes from the tourist shops in Kona. Perfect for our adult family.
Be aware, they are strict about their quiet hours.
If our family returns to the Kona area of the Big Island, I would definitely look to stay here again.

Photos of the property are already nice but it's much better in person! The property itself is perfect with beautiful view of the ocean! We had 12 people... Plenty of clean bedrooms, bathrooms (with towels), kitchen (needed supplies included) and beach equipment located in the garage. We made good use of the swimming pool, outdoor grill, kitchen, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Great stay overall!
Large home very well kept and supplied with all you need to enjoy your stay. Beautiful views, spacious house, relaxing pool, in secured gated community. We really enjoyed the house with family. Not too far from town and shopping (About 15 mins). Hard to tell when your booking online but this place did not disappoint. Was better than our expectation. I'd happily stay here again.
Beautiful views, Beautiful home, great location but the house has roaches!!! We understand that there might be some bugs due to the location but the house has a really bad infestation of roaches!! We sent a text shortly after arrival to Jill who was our island contact explaining that the roaches were bad and that one of our beds had not been changed as there was sand still on the sheets. She let me know that was unacceptable and they would send someone out to bring roach traps and change the bed. Well that never happened. I contacted her again stating that the infestation was unacceptable and that something needed to be done immediately. We had roaches in the bedrooms, crawling all over the toilets, they were everywhere in the kitchen, One night we killed over 30 in the kitchen alone. Jill stated that she is not sure what she can do as pest controls are short handed. REALLY??!!??!! The cleaner did come out confirmed that there were roaches and clean the whole house, took things out of the cabinets and wiped it down, She went to the store to buy a powder to try to kill them. Needless to say we still had roaches!! It was absolutely disgusting. We all left our suitcases zipped and outside when we came home because we were afraid we might of brought them back with us in our luggage. The owners and management company have a real problem that they need to deal with and not make excuses regarding bug companies. We have video and pictures that I wish I could upload. Beware on booking this house unless you like roaches that are everywhere!!!!

A lovely place but a few problems. Garage door malfunction but names in info binder no longer with company. Finally got someone but was told could not get help for a couple of days. What if a pipe had burst ? Pool was dirty when we arrived with dirty spoons in it. Many roaches running around. Some windows and shutters not working. All in all could be maintained better and have better contact info and response for help
