Kamaole Sands is one of the most popular resort condo complexes in South Maui. Nested in 15 acres of tropical gardens surrounded by beautifully maintained lush green lawns, fountains, waterfalls, fish ponds, is one of the largest swimming pools in Kihei, a children's wading pool, and 2 Jacuzzis. The grounds also includes 4 tennis courts, and 9 BBQ gas grill areas are conveniently located throughout the complex.
Truly, what makes Kamaole Sands so desirable is the LOCATION. Kamaole Sands is directly across the street from Kamaole III beach and beach park. Kamaole III is one of the nicest sandy beaches on Maui, popular with locals and tourists alike. This beach is great for swimming, boogie boarding, snorkeling, sun worshiping, and whale watching (in season.) The large Kamaole III beach park is beautiful, clean, and well maintained, and is complete with facilities, outdoor showers, and children's playgrounds. We had a wonderful time in this Condo. We had 4 adults and 4 children and we felt like we had plenty of space. Having 3 Bathrooms is quite helpful after a sandy day at the beach. The location was perfect as we were quite close to lots of amazing beaches that you'll find in South Maui. Walking to Kam 3 take just 3 minutes, but you can also drive to many other great options within 5 minutes. We spent lots of time at Maluaka beach, Wailea beach, Ulua beach, and Kam 2. The condo had 4 boogie boards, 5-6 beach chairs and 2 great umbrellas. The AC units worked well and everything else in the condo were great. This was a great option at a great price.

Kamaole Sands property was immaculately maintained lush green. Pool, toddler pool, family warm tub and adult hot tub were a hit with the whole family. Gas BBQ grills and picnic tables cleaned daily!
Kamaole Beach III was just across the street. Walk was perfect with toddler in tow. Local restaurants were amazing, Cinnamon Roll Palace, Cafes, Ice Cream, Sandwiches, Pizza all walkable.
We stayed with 7 people, 4 adults and 3 children (11,7,3). 3 bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. Tons of beach supplies in the Lanai closet. Parking spots were excellent. Elevator access great. Utilize the washer/dryer and AC perfect for the warm afternoons.
Owners are responsive and helpful, our Thanksgiving was fantastic. Excellent driving distance to airport, road to Hana, and Haleakala. We hope to have the pleasure of staying again in the future!

We really have nothing negative to say about this property and it was just as described. We loved the location and proximity to the beach. We had two little kids and three seniors with some mobility issues in our group and there was no issues getting around within the complex or around the beach. The unit was well maintained and everyone commented on how perfect it was for our stay. We will definitely be coming back to this unit! Highly recommend especially if you have a family with mixed ages as there was something for everyone.
