Perfect condo for a family. The Wailea neighborhood was beautiful. The ocean view from the lanai was incredible. Everything was as stated, and the owner was easy to communicate with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We had a wonderful stay in Wailea. The townhouse was located in a wonderful central location in Wailea, with easy access to shopping, the Wailea beach boardwalk, beaches, and places to eat. We spent everyday snorkeling, boogy boarding, swimming, eating/shopping, and just overall enjoying our time in Maui. The unit was nicely furnished with a 1970’s tropical vibe and had comfortable beds. Kitchen refrigerator was large and easy to stock, and we had plenty of plates and cooking utensils to cook in the unit.I would highly recommend this unit if you’re looking for something relatively affordable in an excellent neighborhood in Maui.
It was great to have a patio overlooking the ocean, enough space for 8 people, lots of beach equipment including a cooler, and a really nice pool. The trash was conveniently close, The bbq was a little bit of a walk. I took daily walks to the beach ( about 20 min walk) and/ or shops. There was some areas of the house that wasn’t usable with off limit signs. I would have liked a bit more storage space and most of the appliances were outdated, but other than that we had an amazing time and the host was easy to communicate with.
Unit sits on beautiful property and location. Kitchen well equipped, fridge, washer, dryer worked perfectly. Downsides were floors that made our socks and feet turn black and dust/dirt/debris in corners of room and baseboards noted when plugging in things (someone else mentioned this in their review). Master bedroom’s tub/shower drain clogged but after notifying William, he sent someone over to fix (thank you!) and also mop the floor. A/C in master bedroom extremely loud- William offered to have it replaced the next day but we didn’t want to be disturbed so just used the fans when we couldn’t take the noise any longer. Upstairs got really hot by 3pm and on, A/c was programmed set to no lower than 64 degrees which did not adequately cool down the floor and was rather uncomfortable in the evening unfortunately.Owner very responsive- my 86yo mom had a great time, we would like to return once new A/C is installed and if they will permit us to lower the temp on upstairs A/c unit so we can cook a nice meal and sit on the couch in comfort. Thank you William for all your effort.
We had a fantastic time at this clean and well-equipped townhome in Maui. The space was perfect for our group of five adults, with a spacious kitchen, two bathrooms, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The heated pool was a favorite — we used it every night!The location was ideal for exploring the island. We appreciated the beach gear, snorkeling equipment, chairs, and cooler, which made our adventures even better. We explored the Road to Hana, visited Haleakalā National Park, and spent time on the Kaanapali side swimming snorkeling at Airport Beach and also the Kihei area Kamaole 1 and 2 beaches. We took the ferry on a day trip to Lana’i, where we snorkeled, swam, and saw spinner dolphins and a sunbathing monk seal. We also enjoyed sunsets along the beachside walkway in Wailea. Overall, this townhome made a great home base, and we’d definitely stay again!
Safe & excellent. Kitchen appliances could use a little updating but everything worked great. The air conditioner in the master bedroom is very loud. But because of the overhead fan we did not have to run it much. If I did it again, I would definitely consider this VRBO again for two families.
Generally good, but needs some tlc of lower ac in master bedroom.
This place is a great stay. It is a little dated but the condo is very clean and has great amenities. The stairs to downstairs is very steep so if you have bad knees/ankles it might not be the best stay for you. We will def be back!
Clean, quiet, comfortable condo. Good location. Friendly communication.
This unit could use some updates and a deep cleaning (baseboards, cabinets, drains flushed) but overall was very comfortable and convenient for our family. For the price, it can’t be beat and we would stay again.
Nice location. Be prepared to go up and down the stairs.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this home. I loved the artwork and found the lanai view to be quite beautiful. The landscaping at the Ekolu condominium complex is breathtaking. The flowers are gorgeous and the trees just pop with flowers and beauty. The ocean is right down the hill and I took early morning walks. I love to snorkel with the sea turtles and that area was just a couple of miles away. We also enjoyed the spaciousness of the home as our adult children visited for 10 days. Such a gift to stay at such a lovely place.
We enjoyed our stay in Wailea. Location is great. Closer to the beaches, walking distance to the Shops at Wailea. Condo is older yet had everything we needed. Bedrooms are spacious. Kitchen was equipped with all that's needed. The ocean view from the deck was very nice. Pool was warm and nice. William was great with messaging and helped us out when our time was shorten because of Westjet's strike.
There was plenty of room for all of us girls to have space. The air conditioning worked amazingly! But the ocean breeze was perfect to sit outside and hangout!
Pros: large condo, great location, nice ocean views, washer and dryer, beach chairs, air conditioning, host responds quickly.
Cons: No smoke detectors, floors were not clean as they turned our socks black.
We had a wonderful stay at this condo! The property was clean and spacious. The proximity to beaches, shops, and restaurants was great! The provided beach chairs and umbrella were great to bring to the beach. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay!
This property is in an excellent location. Close to Kihei in Wailea. It was very spacious for our group of 5. Great view of the water from the lanai.
We love the Wailea area, and this condo unit is centrally located to the amenities we frequently use.
This is our 4th time staying in the Ekolu units and this time did not disappoint. Connecting with the owner was easy and fast, check in was seamless, the property was clean when we arrived and everything was as the listing. We had our 5 month old baby with us, and the convenience of having a pack-and-play there for him to sleep in was wonderful!
The kitchen was stocked with what we needed, there were enough beach towels, and the beach gear was available. There were no sand toys so we did purchase some for our 4 year old and left them behind for future guests to enjoy.
Such a great location which is why we keep coming back!
Over all we had a good stay. The deck is beautiful and the inside although older it’s nice. The beds are comfortable and each bathroom had nice towels. The location is perfect easy walk to the shops at Wailea.

Wailea is fantastic, but expensive, and this complex and condo represent an outstanding value for families! The owner is fantastic and ultra-quick to respond to any question and the unit is clean, comfortable and the deck outside has a wonderful ocean view, great for whale watching (with binoculars), and the location is walkable to Wailea Village (great coffee shop, Italian restaurant and others great shops), The Shops at Wailea, as well as the adjacent, fantastic, grocery store and of course, Wailea beach.
Accommodations were really good. Beds were all very comfortable. All the amenities that you need are included. Awesome location. We had a great trip, and we hope to return here again some day. Thanks!
Very easy to contact the host with quick response. We have stayed in the area before and knew it was a great place with pools and bbqs for all residence as well as preamo location. Quick friendly area close to Kihei, Shops of Wailea, and excellent walks and beaches. The condo was an awesome set up with bedrooms downstairs and kitchen/living space upstairs. Will definitely try to stay here again our next trip.

Loved our stay. Highlights were location, great view from second floor lanai, a lot of space in the condo with large bedrooms and comfy beds. Made for a great Maui vacation.
