The Penthouse at Poipu Shores is the corner unit on the top floor, and is only a few feet from the ocean. Originally built for the developer, it is the largest condo at Poipu Shores (2200 square feet). Glass-walled, it indisputably has the most spectacular view of any property on the south shore - a 270 degree sweeping panorama of the southern coastline extending to the west, Niihau, and the central mountains, Mt. Kahili and Mount Wai'ale'ale.. The condo was completely remodeled and rebuilt and is extremely well-maintained.. The living room has a big screen HDTV, Blu-ray DVD player, and stereo system with iPod and MP3 connections, Blue-tooth speakers. Each bedroom has both ceiling fans and A/C (*see note in Amenities/Essentials,) HDTV, and wireless and hard wired free high speed internet access. The living room and the master bedroom open to the 40 foot long lanai overlooking the ocean crashing on rocks below - a perfect vantage point for spotting sea turtles, dolphins, whales, monk seals. Sunsets are beautiful year round. Guests will enjoy the dramatic, heated, ocean-front pool. There are outdoor barbecue areas, on-site parking, and elevator. On-site manager's office is open daily to assist guests.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY 6 GUESTS: Because of the privacy, ambiance, and amenities, this unit is a wonderful choice for a honeymoon, anniversary, or birthday celebration, or just as a getaway to completely relax and enjoy beautiful Kauai. Two couples sharing this condo will be delighted with the spaciousness. Dinner on the lanai at sunset is the best dining experience on the island.
One infant under age 12 months using a crib may be permissible with 6 adults.

PARKING: Parking is available for ONE vehicle per unit. Vehicle must be registered with onsite office and permit displayed on vehicle windshield. Additional vehicles must be parked off property. Onsite office will advise locations.

SMOKING: This is a non-smoking property. There are three designated smoking areas away from the buildings at the perimeters of the property. Smoking inside the units or on the lanais is prohibited.

BARBECUES: There are gas barbecues on the property for the use of guests. The use of portable grills, hibachis, camping stoves, etc. inside the units or on the lanais is strictly prohibited.

HOUSEKEEPING AND CLEANING: Light housekeeping services, including linen exchanges and supply replacement, depending on length of stay. Exit cleaning fee of $409.00 + tax for stays of a maximum of 10 nights. For stays beyond 10 nights, an additional $30.00 per night will be charged for cleaning.

DRONES: To respect the privacy of all guests, drones may NOT be flown anywhere on the property at any time.

DEPOSIT POLICY: 50% of rent total to confirm reservation; may be higher for year end holidays.

CANCELLATION: full refund of deposit for cancellation up to 61 days prior to arrival date. 50% refund of deposit if cancelled up to 30 days prior to arrival date. No refund if cancelled within 30 days prior to arrival dates, outside of holiday season. NO REFUND IF CANCELLATION OCCURS WITHIN 90 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL DURING HOLIDAY SEASON DATES.
