Connie did a wonderful job of making her house feel at home. She had so many wonderful details, from oils to seasonings, to kids toys and books. She also had so many outside hooks to hang up our wet items from our day of adventuring. She also purchased a screen door for the condo(which hardly other units had) which provided a much needed air flow for the condo. Connie was quick to reply, easy to contact and lovely to work with. The condo was absolutely stunning, the view was breathtaking, the pool, fantastic and the turtles we seen made this condo the perfect place to take your family. My kids are already talking about coming back, which i would not be opposed to! Hopefully some day we will.
It was wonderful. Beautiful ocean view. The kids used the snorkel gear and checked out the turtles. We really enjoyed it.
The Maui Turtle Condo at Mahina Surf was better than advertised. I'll start with the condo: The owner, Carol, was amazing to work with. She reached out to us right after we finalized the rental and was always there with information and help. Not that we needed any help once we got there! The condo is in tip top shape with plenty of room for our family of four. The views from the balcony were amazing.Mahina Surf is a great complex - the grounds are nice, the BBQ's are great, and the pool was nice after a day of exploring the island. We also thought that the location was perfect - felt like we were right in the middle of the West Shore and everything it has to offer.We will be staying here again in the future!
Since this condo is located directly on the ocean, we enjoyed listening to the ocean and experiencing beautiful ocean breezes every day. An additional bonus was the turtle beach located right next door…so worth seeing. Connie & Joe, owners of this condo, could not have been more accommodating or responsive. You won’t find a better host than these 2 individuals. Such a delightful stay.
We loved our stay at turtle condo. We adventured out for fun days of snorkeling at nearby beaches, but also felt very lucky to sit on the lanai in the morning and evening with a pair of binoculars watching turtles and whales. A happy, peaceful place! The unit is clean, comfortable, and well stocked.
Location is fabulous. The host was so fun and easy to communicate with. She answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend staying here
Wonderful property. Right on the water. It was great to listen to the surf from the condo. We saw whales breaching from the condo and enjoyed daily visits to the shore to watch the sea turtles. The pool is warm and great for the kids. Excellent hosts. We'll definitely return to this property if we come back to Maui.

Lovely stay for a family with two older (ages 11 and 15) boys. My younger liked the pool and my older liked snorkeling near the property. Appreciated having the full kitchen with an oceanfront view!

Turtles just off the coast a few steps away from the door and they swim by the rocks seen from the balcony. The condo is clean, comfortable, well stocked and in a great location. The view from the balcony is sweeping and sunset is a great time to enjoy the courtyard for the views. The hosts do a great job of providing information of the area and the arrival/departure process. My sister, niece and myself could not have been more pleased with the accommodations and location. Getting back and forth to Lahaina for the 50th anniversary Luau in honor Trilogy Excursions was a piece of cake. We loved the turtles and the pool, and just everything. If we go back to Maui, this is where we will stay! Thank you!!

Absolutely loved our stay! From the minute we booked, I knew this was going to be a good experience as Connie was super flexible with our dates and itinerary. She sent over so much helpful info well before our stay so we could prepare accordingly which was especially useful with our three girls (11,9,7). The property is conveniently located with short drives to great beaches and downtown Lahaina. The unit is slightly dated but clean and cozy and what it lacks in modern amenities it more than makes up for with an unreal view. We sat on the lanai and watched whales and turtles every morning and night and had our own private spot to watch the sunset. And speaking of turtles, if you’re a nature lover like my family is, this is the place for you. The little turtle beach in front of the property became our favorite place to check out everyday - we counted up to 30 turtles sleeping out there one night! We would certainly rebook on our next trip and are grateful for the communication before and during our trip, too!
Loved this property! It was the perfect size for my husband and myself and two young boys. They loved the loft as their own space. The beds were all super comfortable. We were so happy that there were some staples there for us, enough for a week, such as toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing pods, dishwashing detergent and toiletries in each bathroom. The view was unbelievable from sunrise to sunset. We saw 14 turtles at one time on the little adjacent beach property. The pool was perfect for our family. Everyone around was personable and friendly. The laundry area was coin or app pay which was helpful. Plenty of parking. We were close to many great restaurants and beaches! Connie also had beach chairs and sand toys in the closet for us and we used them everyday. She was also responsive and helpful when I texted her. She worked with us to even add a day on the front of our planned trip. Overall I couldn’t say enough. If I could come back every year I would. Perfect trip and perfect place to stay for our family of four!
Property was not clean and there were roaches in the kitchen. It was so bad that we couldn’t prepare food and had to go out for every meal. Microwave oven did not work and was not replaced during our stay. Curtain from main window was missing, which made the living room very bright and hot in the afternoon sun. Property also needs upgrades. It didn’t appear as though any work had been done there in 30 years.
I would recommend finding another unit in this community to rent because the location and view is great.
First of hopefully many trips to Maui. Travelled as family with older kids and worked great! Easy to access and close to so much to do. Enjoyed the turtles on the beach every day. Most we saw at one time was 25 - truly beautiful to be able to watch them.

This was a great location for everything - views, turtle sighting, beaches, shopping, etc. And the hosts were so nice and quick to respond to all our questions. We saw turtles the first night and the pool was right outside. The ocean waves put you right to sleep. Would definitely stay again.
