Feel at home the moment you step into A311, our recently remodeled condo, Aloha Kai. Look right as you enter the front door and you’ll instantly see why you came to Molokai—the stunning view across the ocean channel of neighbor islands Maui, Kaho’olawe and Lana’i. Palms swaying just off your lanai, the ocean lapping the shore a mere 50 feet away, and the sounds of tropical birds welcome you to your island experience. Perfectly located on the top floor of A Building, Aloha Kai (A311) provides a wonderful place to land in this Hawaiian paradise (even if there are no elevators on Molokai, it's worth the ascent from the parking lot).

Inside you’ll find all the comforts of home (and then some). Included is a fully appointed living room with two modern recliners, a 43” 4K HD TV (with cable/internet, blu-ray dvd player, and an additional HDMI/USB connections for other devices), plenty of comfortable seating, and a sweet little secretary desk. There’s a fully-equipped modern kitchen complete with current appliances and cookware, blender and coffee maker (even a separate USB charging station!). The bathroom offers a soothing rain shower head in the private bath apart from a separate vanity area. In the bedroom is a king size Leesa Legend hybrid memory-foam bed, a large closet and plenty of dresser storage. Blackout curtains on the windows afford full privacy; louvered windows allow in the refreshing trade winds (and a gorgeous view of the mountains above).

Outside is 5 acres of well-kept tropical landscape which includes a large oceanfront pool (with huge cabana and gas BBQ’s). An extensive lawn invites you to stroll alongside one of the ancient fish ponds on Molokai, while several benches allow you to leisurely catch the stunning sunrises and sunsets by yourself or with others. During whale season in the winter months, there can be some spectacular viewing right from the lanai. (We've provided binoculars.)

And that’s just Wavecrest! The rest of Molokai awaits—from the swimming and snorkeling beaches scattered along the way to the east end and Halawa Valley (with its waterfalls, guided cultural hikes and more—check their website) to heading back to Kaunakakai (with its local businesses, farmers market and craftspeople) and past it to the west end (with Hawaii’s longest white sand beach, Papohaku). And in between, there’s a lot to see and do here on this Friendly Isle (more recently called the Most Hawaiian Island). For...

We had an awesome stay. Great location. Top floor and oceanfront provided unbelievable views. We spent our mornings and evenings sitting on the Lanai. Recently remodeled and clean. Fully stocked kitchen. Owners thought of everything with beach towels, beach chairs, cooler pack, and snorkeling gear. We would definitely stay here again.

Can’t say enough about this beautiful property. Want to keep it a secret so we can come back whenever we want! Molokai is not for everyone but for us it was heaven on earth. Condo had everything you need and then some. And so quiet! Mahalo for sharing your beautiful place and island!

We appreciated the updated, beautifully decorated condo. It had everything we needed and things we didn't know we needed! Fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, snorkeling gear. Best of all, the view from the lanai. Breathtaking!

This was a very nice place to stay on Molokai. The condo suited all our needs. Oceanview incredible. Decorated very nicely. Would definitely stay again. Owners were easy to communicate with. No problems. Did not have to communicate with property management people. Grounds were lovely and kept up well. People living there friendly. Nice pool.

Katherine and Don’s place was more than we could have expected…the photographs and descriptions are terrific, but do not do it justice. Calm, beautiful, and immaculate. First, the location is absolutely lovely. It’s 12 miles/30 minutes from the main town. Very quiet and just gorgeous. We really loved the east end! (We headed over to the west end for a day and the beaches do go on for miles. For us however, it didn’t have the charm, including the accommodations.) Second, they thought of everything to make our stay delightful. The condo is immaculate and no detail forgotten. (In fact, we took photographs of several things they had in the kitchen so we could purchase them when we got home!) Just loved being on the top floor and right on the water… Building A is awesome! These folks also thought of what you might need for your adventures… binoculars, beach bags, chairs, and towels, as well as snorkels. They were also accommodating when our flights kept changing. (The one "airline" which flies to Molokai is something else…they changed our flights so many times that we got the impression that they just fly when they want to ha ha…prepare to be flexible :-) Besides relaxing at the condo, we thoroughly enjoyed the Halawa Valley guided hike, Mass at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows, sunset dinner at Hotel Molokai, mile 20 beach...and respectfully exploring this very special place. We did happen to hit unusually windy and wet weather but still enjoyed ourselves. Would love to come back to sunshine and a light breeze and will absolutely try and stay here again…Thank you Don and Katherine!
