We had an absolutely fantastic stay in this vacation rental. It was centrally located and easy to find with plenty of parking at no additional charge. The condo was picture perfect with the oceanfront view and relaxing lanai to see and watch the waves crashing on the shore and canoe teams racing back and forth. It was magical. The condo itself was very well equipped with everything a true cook needs. We both love to cook and everything we needed was right there at our fingertips. Of course we overpacked and didn't need half of what we brought because there was a washer and drier right there to keep everything clean. Supplies were plentiful from toilet paper to garbage bags, lotions, and a book of instructions to help make our stay easier. The pool was only an elevator ride away and was the perfect temperature. There is a shower t rinse off from the beach and chairs in the condo as well as an umbrella for beachgoing trips or staying right there at the beautiful beach right there at the condo. We walked every evening at sunset and could walk 5 miles in either direction on the level sand and warm waves at high tide if so inclined. We did walk about a mile in both directions though and it was easy. The bed was very comfortable and shower pressure just the way you like it. There is nothing I could say other than thanks so much for such a wonderful two weeks in the only condo we will every stay in on any future trips to Kehei. It was an absolute score!
Loved the view from the lanai, enjoyed the canoes paddling by every morning.The office people were great, arranged a whale watching cruise for us, which was great.Accommodations were comfortable.
This is the third time that we stayed in Diane's condo at Sugar Beach Resort. Every time the condo was very clean, comfortable with furniture and stocked with a lot of spices and seasonings. The views are amazing! We chose mid to late February to hopefully see some whales; and we were successful on each of the three outings that were arranged through the facilities at Sugar beach. Hope to return soon!
We really enjoyed our stay - we would come back, but the furniture is a little worn out. Trying to get comfy to watch a show was difficult. Other than that, it was such a nice, relaxing place to be. I loved sitting on the lanai and listening to the waves crash.
Fantastic condo with fantastic views! Very well stocked from kitchen to linens with extras such as beach chairs, swim gear, ice chests. Clean and comfortably furnished. My only issue is that I did not plan for more days on Maui and less on Oahu!
This condo and resort are in a perfect location, direct ocean view! Absolutely beautiful views. The condo is clean and very comfortable. Bed is comfortable and kitchen is well stocked. It’s very convenient to have the washing machine and dryer in the condo. The living room area is comfortable with views of the ocean. Perfect stay!
This VRBO was beautiful. Views from the lanai were spectacular and the complex was very clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!
Lovely place right on the beach.
Had a minor problem with the door lock. Registration staff was a little cranky about helping us, bur property owner contacted us right away and fixed it. She was very easy to contact.
Love the location on the beach and easy access to anything in Kihei. Saw late in the season whales, seal and turtles from deck. Fully equipped condo.
Very comfy condo with everything you might need. The view from the lanai is fantastic. The complex is quiet, and the beach area is great! If you are looking for a relaxing vacation away from the crowds, this is the place. We have stayed in Wailea and Kaanapali many times and the beaches were always crowded. This beach was perfect. Maybe 5 people at a time on the beach. We loved our stay. Thank you for sharing your condo!
We love this condo. It has everything you could want. The whales were right next to shore and the weather was perfect. We have been vacationing at Sugar Beach for over 30 years and this is the best condo we have ever stayed in. Thank you for allowing us to use your condo.

We loved the location and especially the view from the lenai. There is access to lovely walks along the beach and watching all of the boats coming into the harbor.

Sugar beach proved to be a great central home base as we explored all of the island ( except for restricted west coast areas). We had easy access to the Mt Haleakala area, Road to Hana, Hoapili trail, snorkeling at turtle town, and the Waihe’e ridge trail! Plenty of good restaurant choices nearby. The pool was closed for maintenance but we knew about that in advance and had no interest in sitting by a pool when a beautiful beach was just outside! Good communication with host. Washer/dryer in the unit helpful as we had another week of travel planned after Maui.

We had a wonderful visit to Maui. Our condo was beautiful, with an amazing ocean view from the lanai! We loved the tropical decor, very comfy furnishings, a well equipped kitchen and so many extras that were made available to us. A bonus was having free access to the parking garage. Our hosts were so gracious and accommodating. Everything was perfect, including the pool, hot tub and beach walk. Our favorite place was the lanai, starting the day with a smoothie, getting some sun, relaxing with a glass of wine, or watching sunsets together after a day of island adventures. Mahalo for giving us a beautiful place to make special memories on our 40th anniversary in Maui.
