The condo was pristine! Fabulous location. Quick responses from the host. We slept to the sounds of the waves on the beach. Great view. Could not have asked for more.
The property was exactly what we expected and helped to make our vacation the perfect getaway.
The Whaler is by far our favorite Maui destination. The grounds of this location are pure perfection. The staff are top notch, customer service is their focus. The Condo, is great, great views and amenities. The owner is the nicest, her communication is outstanding.
The pictures of this place do not do it justice! The property is huge and has a very large balcony overlooking the courtyard/pool and ocean! The location is amazing as well. Within walking distance to 20ish restaurants/ cafes. The beach out front is also great with places to lay out. If you go farther down the road the beach is no longer there. If beach is important to you I would definitely stay here! Also just a short beach walk to black rock with great snorkeling. Would 100% recommend and stay at this property again
One of the best properties we have stayed at in our many trips to Maui. Amenities are fabulous and the property was excellent inside and out. One of the easiest property managers I have ever dealt with and give them a 5 star rating. Had a great stay and loved the location and the view every morning. Short trip for a wedding, but was just what the doctor ordered before we caught a cruise to Alaska the next week.

The location of the unit was excellent. The unit was well stocked with household supplies and utensils. The unit was attractively furnished.
The only negative was the mattress/cover did not provide any support and a person would sink into the foam.
We enjoyed our stay, but the condo could use more silverware, a new mattress, and cleaner carpets.

We loved watching the sunset over dinner, the ease of access to the beach walk and directly onto the beach, and the cleanliness of the pool facilities. Judy was quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely recommend a stay here if you are traveling to Kaanapali!

We would definitely request this unit again. The property was great and on site staff were very friendly. It had a large balcony overlooking the ocean and the Kaanapali boardwalk was steps away from the resort. Great place to stay!

This is the most relaxed we’ve been in awhile. The views from the balcony are better in person than in photos. We spent some pleasant hours there! Beautiful in the morning and at sunset. Falling asleep in the very comfortable king size bed listening to the waves was wonderful. The kitchen was fully equipped and spotless. I don’t personally love carpet in a beach property because it’s hard not to track traces of sand in, but that’s just a personal preference. The Whaler complex is within walking distance of many restaurants and shops, as well as the beach boardwalk. The check in/out process was quick and easy. The pool area was not fancy, but there were always chairs available. Being right on the beach, sitting around the pool wasn’t a priority for us, but we did use the hot tub and pool a couple of times, and they were nice. Communication with the owner was easy and timely. It’s a very comfortable and convenient vacation stay!

We loved staying at the Whaler. It has a great location close to shopping and dining and has a lovely view of the ocean. I have never stayed in a condo that didn’t have laundry access in the unit. Although there is a washer and dryer on the floor, it was annoying. I would make sure you are aware of that before you book. This unit has very little hanging space (although lots of drawers) as a portable bed takes up most of the closet space. Despite a few drawbacks it was a comfortable and beautiful place to stay.
